Healthy Paws is by far the best pet insurance and I am so happy to have went with them

When I first got my GSP I knew they were a very high maintenance breed and set out to buy insurance for her. I came across Healthy Paws and to date have filed about 30 claims with them. Each one was paid within a day, and I get the checks within a week. I couldn't be happier with them. Recently my dog had to go to the emergency room for several days and the bill was over $7,000.00. I forwarded it to Healthy Paws and they paid it all under a week. I often joke with friends that my dog has better health insurance than I do.

Fast and Easy

I recently submitted a claim after my dog went through surgery. The online forms were easy to use. Even with COVID and the holidays approaching, Healthy Paws responded quickly to process the claim. Great service.

Healthy Paws has No Loyalty

We had Healthy Paws for years - loyal customer, paid on time etc. The card we used to pay our monthly fees got jeopordized and we never updated it (our mistake). Healthy Paws did send us emails but they went to our "other box" so we did not see them until our account was cancelled. We called THREE days after our account was cancelled and they said there was nothing we could do. We could re-enroll but all of our dog's health issues would be considered "pre-existing." Talk about rewarding loyalty. And the fact they had the audacity to tell me I could "re-enroll." They are just another insurance company trying to make a buck. They could careless about the dogs and how their health will be affected by their decision. If the CFO is reading this: My dog's health issues = $10K. We paid = $12K per year on Health insurance premiums $12K on premium for 30 years = $36K. Healthy Paws Loses Over Time = $26K And guess who is going to let everyone know about my experience EVERY SINGLE TIME pet insurance comes up?

Fast Service

Having recently gone through the process claims with Healthy Paws, I found their service to be quick and easy to use. My dog needed moderate surgery and submitting the claim afterward was a simple process. Healthy Paws even followed up with me about how my dog was feeling after the surgery.

Wish my insurance was this easy/good

I can't believe that I needed to file a claim right after the waiting period was over. It was easy to file and when I called for questions everyone was extremely helpful. The claim was processed quickly and they even followed up to see how my puppy was doing. I would recommend them to all my pet families/friends.
