Three weeks ago Kermit! who was in one of his best shapes of his life became very lethargic very quick. Within two days he got diagnosed with a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding and consequently got his spleen removed. He was in the ICU for four days. And so far we have been billed over $ 7,000. With Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we were reimbursed close to 90% of the total expense within ten days. While I sincerely hope that no dog owner goes through what we went through, knowing that there is a reliable pet health insurance company taking care of the expenses definitely helps.

I have had Healthy Paws Insurance on my sweet service dog since she was placed with me years ago. As she’s aged she has inevitably had more medical issues. Their app is easy to use, their customer service has been great (the one or two times I have had to call them), and they process claims quickly with fast direct deposit into my account. Our little schi tzu cocker mix blew her CCL right back leg last year. After speaking to Orthopedic Veterinarian, we chose to have the surgery to alleviate her pain.
