Reliable and Affordable

Healthy Paws has been a great ally while raising my puppy. Whenever we have to go to the vet, Healthy Paws gives me the flexibility to never have to factor in cost during an emergency. They are accessible and provide detailed answers to questions, and are overall very supportive of pet owners. They also have a blog and other useful information they share with parents, which has been great as a first time puppy owner!

I have a 5 year old Boston Terrier and…

I have a 5 year old Boston Terrier and have had health Paws insurance since i've had my dog. I've never filed a claim or anything and have a couple small rate increases. No big deal & I understand. Today I received an email that my rates will be increasing from $45 a month to $98 a month. I think this is crazy! No explanation or anything. I understand when rates go up a few dollars a month but to more than double my premiums is just wrong. I will be looking for a new company to give my business to.

Super Easy and quick reimbursement!

Recently my dog Charlie had her second TPLO surgery - this is a procedure that is over $4K where I live. Healthy paws paid for the first one after I submitted the full medical history for charlie, which took me a while to get. For the second one, I was reimbursed 90% as my policy says within 2 days right into my bank account. They were super helpful and caring, even reached out after her surgery and they paid to say that they hoped she was doing good. They even knew it was her 2nd one! It wasn't an automated email. It was nice to have the personal touch. I highly recommend them.

Best insurance!

We are new dog owners and everyone recommended getting insurance because goldendoodles are known to get into a lot of trouble and eat everything that they shouldn't! I was unsure whether to do it or not because I hate having a monthly fee for something I might not use. But boy am I glad that I did! We have already had to use the insurance multiple times and my puppy is only 8 months old! It has been extremely easy to submit claims through the app and I am reimbursed quickly. A representative from Healthy Paws has even reached out to check on my Rosie since she's had a lot of stomach trouble lately. They are caring and helpful. We are VERY satisfied with Healthy Paws!
