Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We are new dog owners and everyone recommended getting insurance because goldendoodles are known to get into a lot of trouble and eat everything that they shouldn't! I was unsure whether to do it or not because I hate having a monthly fee for something I might not use. But boy am I glad that I did! We have already had to use the insurance multiple times and my puppy is only 8 months old! It has been extremely easy to submit claims through the app and I am reimbursed quickly. A representative from Healthy Paws has even reached out to check on my Rosie since she's had a lot of stomach trouble lately. They are caring and helpful. We are VERY satisfied with Healthy Paws!

Stay away from this company. They will deny everything claim, give you the run around but still continue to withdraw from your account.

We have found Healthy Paws to be very easy to work with. Claims are settled quickly! I wouldn’t have a dog without a major medical insurance plan! You never know what tomorrow will bring!!!

I had pet insurance for 14 years with a previous pet. When I got a new puppy I looked into the same insurance. The rates were astronomical and so many common dog illnesses were omitted. I did my research and found Healthy Paws. I am so thrilled with this company! Customer service is tops, turnover once claim is received is only a few days. My guy has had a few situations that needed surgery or hospitalization, and I am so happy with the amount covered. This company is awesome!

Luna needed emergency surgery for blockage in her intestines on Christmas Eve. We submitted the vet invoice after the surgery and getting her home and Healthy Paws was right on it. We received updated email informing us about the status of the claim and when to expect a result. They responded when they said they would and covered the claim in full subject to our deductible and appropriate deductions (we have an 80% policy). I never had pet insurance before and didn’t know what to expect but this experience could not have been more professional, caring and complete. Luna is doing great now and back to her old self!
