Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My two dogs are insured with healthypaws for a while, so far luckily, I didn't have any large claims. Recently my dog had to undergo an expensive surgery (more than 5000$) and I had to file a claim. My experience was amazing! Never had such experience with any insurance company. Although they replied that it can take upto 10 business days to review the claim(which by itself isn't long), they reviewed and approved the claim within 1 day without any issues! I've received the check by the end of the week. Later they also communicated to check up on my pup. Examplary service, I'm definitely a happy customer.

I DO NOT recommend Healthy Paws. I started using them on 1.24.19 when my Minature poodle was 18 weeks old and the monthly premium was $32.18. The following year the premium went to $41.57/mo and now come 1.24.2021 it is going to $54! That is a 68% increase in 24 months!!! I have never submitted a claim! Nothing in 2020, the COVID Crisis year, has gone up 68%. SHAME ON YOU HEALTHY PAWS FOR GOUGING YOUR CLIENTS!!

We love the protection provided by Healthy Paws. 1. It’s so easy to customize your coverage 2. The App is very easy to use to submit your claims 3. Claims are promptly resolved and paid I’ve recommended them on FaceBook Pet groups I follow when others are looking for information on Pet Insurance.

Healthy Paws have been so helpful with my dog Juni who recently went through knee surgery. Claim process were quick and easy that can be done through their mobile apps or by email. The claims are usually in process status within 2-3 business days after claims have been submitted and paid out 2-3 business days after that directly into our bank account. The premiums are affordable and it's a yearly deductible rather than per visit. I do wish that their mobile app allows us to upload invoice in pdf formats though as electronic receipts are becoming more common.

I love Healthy Paws insurance company. They have been a lifesaver for me and my dog, Tizo. Can you imagine an insurance company that reviews your claims in 24-48 hours and sends your reimbursement straight to your account a day or two after? It's true. You submit the claim online, wait a couple days and suddenly those outrageous bills seem much more reasonable. I just had an incident where Tizo became very, very sick overnight. She could have died! But fortunately I got her to a vet within a day -- and then the bills starting coming in. But Healthy Paws made it quite manageable for me. And, then, believe it or not, a week or so after, they wrote to me to ask me how we both were doing! Exceptional service, exceptional care!
