Peace of mind made easy

My dog recently tore her ACL and Healthy Paws made the experience a lot more bearable knowing I could focus on taking care of my dog and not how much it was going to cost. The first claim I made was a smaller bill for x-rays and it was approved in less than week, but I opted for a check through mail and am still waiting for it (3wks later). For the claim for the actual surgery it took them about 2 wks to process, but this time I opted for direct deposit and it was in my account 48hrs after it was approved. It was very easy to file, you just send a picture of the invoice and customer service was great when I had a question. I had a response back via email by the next day. They even sent a email with well wishes while my dog was recovering. Overall, I've had a great experience with them, will continue to use them, and will recommend them to anyone.

Healthy Paws is THE pet insurance you need for your fur family!

We adopted Georgie from Shaggy Dog Rescue who saved him from a shelter in TX and he made his journey to us via Rescue Road Trips. We didn't know much about his background so decided to start researching pet insurance. It took awhile to really research all of the providers on the market and after reading countless reviews we went with Healthy Paws. Second best decision we have made when it comes to Georgie (first, was deciding to apply to be in the running to adopt him). So fast forward to about 1.5 years after he joined the family. Our groomer noticed a bump by his boy part. We immediately got him into his primary care vet who diagnosed him with mast cell cancer. On to the surgical consultant and resulting procedure (with an overnight hospital stay). While it was nerve-racking to be away from our fur baby, one thing that I didn't worry about was his insurance coverage. Healthy Paws has been nothing but amazing when we have submitted previous claims for his meds, etc. After his surgery I submitted the invoices and the reimbursement was promptly processed. That's not even the best part. The Claws & Paws Protector, Tim W., emailed me to ask how Georgie was going. I couldn't even believe that! That's when I knew that we made the right choice for pet insurance for our fur baby. It's more care and concern than I have EVER or probably ever will receive from my bi-ped insurance providers. Thank you Healthy Paws for providing exemplary customer service and going above and beyond to make pets (and the pet parents) feel cared for and valued. Read your reviews. Do you research. Review your fur baby's needs or possible needs. Pick the best provider for you. If you choose Healthy Paws, I am confident that you will have the best possible experience when insurance is the last thing on your mind.

Healthy Paws was great with the claim…

Healthy Paws was great with the claim for my kitty. She had to get emergency surgery on her abdomen, which ended up costing us a lot without any budgeting for it. Luckily Healthy Paws was able to reimburse me 80% (which is my selected reimbursement amount). We ended up paying less than a 1/3 of the total cost. They were very quick to get the claim through, checked in a couple times, and I received the check only a week after submitting the claim!
