I rescued my dog a few years ago and purchased insurance through Healthy Paws, which I never anticipated any serious medical issues. My rescue has had surgery to remove a tumor, which was cancerous. Also, to make things worse we she has a gallbladder that will need to removed. Healthy Paws did not decline one invoice. Everything was processed quickly. The company was so kind to email me asking how our dog was doing. I would absolutely recommend this company to keep your pet covered

Best Pet Insurance
We've had HealthyPaws Pet insurance for about 3 years now and have always had a good experience. Winnie recently had surgery and filing a claim was easy and reimbursement was quick. I've compared pricing over the years and HealthyPaws always remains the better price for the coverage we need + they have really great customer service which is invaluable to me.

Healthy Paws - from Young Adult to Senior Pup
We really love Healthy Paws - we've been a client since our pup was diagnosed with IVDD in 2016. While that specific ailment is not covered (NO PET INSURANCE ON THE MARKET COVERS PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS), Healthy Paws has covered A TON of other illnesses and emergencies for us as our dog continues to age. It has been AMAZING to have the peace of mind on some of these high-cost items (ex: gallbladder ultrasound with partial anesthesia and oral mass removal/biopsy with full anesthesia). It's stressful enough without the financial factor!! I would hate to have to turn down treatment that I know would benefit our fur-son because of the cost, and seriously, I NEVER have to with Healthy Paws. With no lifetime spend cap, I can count on my selected reimbursement rate (90%) every time. They do not cover "good pet owner" costs, such as grooming, vaccinations, etc., but everything else, less a small $100 yearly deductible for us, is paid back - quickly! The app has had some hiccups, but overall, it's fantastic too! I OBSESSIVELY researched all of the options several years ago, and I have, thus far, been 100% satisfied with the investment. Any and all future pets will be Healthy Paws customers.
My 6 month old mini golden doodle swallowed a rock and needed emergency surgery. We are so grateful that we had Healthy Paws insurance, which covered a very sizable portion of a very sizable bill! Customer service reps were very helpful and followed up to see how Bodhi was doing. It was a scary and challenging time and it was nice to know that other people were thinking of our fur baby. We highly recommend!
I would encourage anyone thinking about rescuing a pup, to think about pet insurance because you just never know....Stan was rescued 1 year ago, just diagnosed with EPI after a month long illness. I have Healthy Paws Insurance for both of my rescues and couldn’t be more satisfied with the ease of submitting claims and the quick response. Thank you Healthy Paws staff!
