Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I chose Healthy Paws because of the flexibility in choosing the deductible and coverages, as well as the great reviews. I have had to make two claims thus far for my dog. Submitting the claim could not be easier. (All online as well). Since they had all my dog’s medical history up to date, the second claim was submitted, processed, and paid within 2 business days. I appreciate the follow-up emails as well checking up on her health. I am happy I chose them and highly recommend.

Healthy Paws has saved us so many times. We had it for about 9 years with our dachshund who had a handful of accidents (chocolate, allergic reaction, IBD, and ultimately heart failure) The policy took care of us right up until the end and it was incredible peace of mind to never have to worry about the cost of her care. Whatever she needed, we did. They were quick to process claims and send out checks. So, when we rescued a new puppy, we got healthy paws right away. It has already helped us tremendously with unexpected issues. I tell all my friends with pets to strongly consider healthy paws!! I worked in reception at a veterinary hospital for 4 years and saw the bills that piled up for dogs and cats having accidents, needing hospitalization, or long term management of a newly diagnosed issue. I think a lot of people mistakenly thought pet insurance in general was a scam but it definitely isn’t and Healthy Paws is #1 far as we are concerned. We are so thankful for Healthy Paws. We have all 3 of our pups insured. One of our dogs has had two torn Acls in the past 1.5 years, which is so stressful and worrisome but we never worried about if we could afford proper treatment. Healthy paws did not hassle us and paid for physical therapy for months after. We so appreciate it!

Healthy Paws is a great company. I decided on their top tier insurance policy and the coverage has been life and money saving. My lil love Tobey has had tumors develop on his precious paws which needed removal. Thankfully, they were benign. The procedures were quite expensive and healthy paws covered the majority of the cost each time. They do any time an emergency or problem develops. Whenever anything occurs with Tobey I know he'll get the best care from his vet and that I'll get the best care from Healthy Paws. They even checked up on him by emailing me to make sure he was doing well. They're customer service is fabulous and I feel good knowing that they donate money to animal non-profits. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws for your pet insurance provider.
