Buying pet insurance with Healthy Paws was the best decision we've made since we decided to adopt our dog Luna. The policy information is crystal clear and all of our claims have been reimbursed within a few days of filing. No issues whatsoever. Like most insurance, you don't know how badly you need it until an emergency happens. When that emergency happens (if you have a rescue dog - it will happen), you will want to literally step into a time machine and shake your past self's hand for purchasing a Healthy Paws policy. Purchasing health insurance for my dog, Finn was one of the smartest decisions I have made. Finn accidentally ingested some raisins that were on the ground at the park. He was rushed to the animal hospital where he spent three long days and two nights. This was NOT a cheap stay. Thankfully I have insurance and was able to submit my claim the day he arrived home and almost all was covered and the claim was processed in days! I have had this policy for six years and am filing my first claim and it has been nothing but a hassle for the last 10 days. Directions are never clear, no one calls, they send cryptic emails with directions and then ask you for the same thing several times.

Excellent pet insurance. Very easy to use and place a claim. Claims are processed very quickly. You are able to call and speak to a representative, which is wonderful. I love the fact that you have options regarding the cost. Covers many claims that others do not. And the fact that they do not have a lifetime cap is important to me. My monthly premium was increased 20% for a healthy 2 years old dog. It's a second increase. ($35 to $39 to $44). Are you ok guys? called the representative and she told me it's happening because of increased amount of claims within the state and offered to increase my deductible. Are you serious guys?
