We've had Healthy Paws policies for our pets for 6 years now, and we are very happy with the level of service they have provided us over the years. When adding a pet, they are very thorough, but it's necessary and has the added bonus of making sure we have records of our pet's histories, which we like to keep track of anyway. The younger the pet, the easier it is to enroll! Once enrolled, though, upkeep is very simple. I just take pictures of all my pet's invoices/labs and submit a claim on my phone, no writeup required. We recently experienced our first incident where we went beyond our deductible due to our cat being hospitalized for a week. Luckily, he came out of it like a champ. Since they had all my records already, it was simply a matter of submitting the new invoice/lab pictures. Within 2 days, all of my claims had been approved without question or hassle, and I received the check in the mail within the week. They even cover medications, which he now has to be on, which is a huge help. They also followed up with an email to see how our boy was doing. The customer service is definitely awesome! One last note: When one of our dogs passed away, we had to remove her from our insurance. Shortly thereafter, we received a handwritten letter in the mail signed by many folks to offer their condolences, which was incredibly sweet during such a rough time.

Our beloved "dream dog" Ozzy started limping and after going to a "regular" vet we took him to a specialist to determine the cause. Our hearts just dropped when we got the diagnosis of osteosarcoma. Thankfully it was not yet in his lungs but the only solution to stop the intense pain from bone cancer and a certain potential for fracture was to amputate his front left leg. It has been a horrible, sad process. But after 2 weeks he's finally starting to act more like himself. We are so grateful to have Healthy Paws. We never ever expected anything like this to happen especially at only 7 years old. The costs have been in the thousands and will continue with the prescribed chemotherapy. I have had insurance with another company with past pets and they don't even come close. I feel Healthy Paws is our partner in our dog's chance of survival for a few more years.

Cost doubled in 4 years without ever making a claim.
WE got the policy for our dog when she was about 4 months old and it was about $24/mo. We have never made a claim and the cost has more than doubled to about $54/mo. When contacted about it the company said that vet costs have increased. We thought that by getting it when she was young we were ensuring that we would have the good rate. The company takes the easy money for young dogs and then raises prices for adult dogs to the point that it isn't worth it. It's a terrible way to do business.

Healthy Paws delivers & trully cares…
Healthy Paws delivers & trully cares for your animals. I highly recomend it.
Our puppy Pomeranian broke his leg & since he is out first pet I didn't even know you can buy pet insurance so inexpensively. After his 5K surgery & after care I was determine to find quality pet insurance just in case something like that was to happen in the future. Sure enough couple of months later our dog was diagnosed with hereditary hip disease & needed FHO surgery. I was so relieved Healthy Paw took care of almost whole amount after $250 deductible. It was my best decision ever. They even contacted me to find out his progress after surgery. Can't thank them enough💗
