Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance i have had. I used VPI Pet Insurance in the past and the tiered fee schedule and cumbersome claims process was not easy to manage. With Healthy Paws, i don't ever have to debate treatment for my pet, because their claims process is simple, and their coverage is streamlined, i can take my pet for treatment with peace of mind that he's covered. I recieve a flat 80% reimbursement after my deductible is coverage. My pet, Chewy was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and because of the coverage i recieve from Healthy Paws, he has receieved the best treatement thus far, including reoccurance checks that would have cost me hundreds. I'm grateful for healthy paws and the coverage i recieve, its absolutely worth it.

Healthy Paws has been a lifesaver for my dog Chewy. He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and because of the streamlined coverage with no fee schedules etc, and the simplified claims process, he is getting the treatment that he needs! The customer service is fantastic and the claims process from submitting a claim (minutes!) to recieving reimbursement is days. I recieve a flat 80% reimbursement after my deductible and this has saved my family thousands in costs and makes the decision to get the proper treatment for Chewy easy and stress free.

My dog recently had to undergo an X-ray, MRI and multiple blood tests. I used Healthy Paws mobile app which makes it SO easy to submit a claim. And, they're very quick to approve. It made this anxious dog mama less worried knowing the insurance process was smooth and painless! I HIGHLY recommend pet insurance through Healthy Paws. Nothing but great experiences so far!

We lost our mastiff after 5 yrs. cost started at $65 and ended at $151 a month! $9 annual price hikes reasonable but then $30 hikes especially during covid! They paid all the claims timely. Now our new Frenchy would only have 70% instead of 90% coverage so on to a new one

I've had Healthy Paws for my Frenchie since I brought him home as a puppy. I found their rates to be very competitive and their plans comprehensive. Healthy Paws gets high marks for ease of making claims, it literally takes minutes on the app, as well as very timely reimbursements, sometimes same day for small claims. Recently my Frenchie had surgery for a disk herniation which was our first large claim. HP reviewed it and the check was sent 3 weeks later, thus I was very pleased with their responsiveness. They even emailed me checking on how he was recovering. The only thing is my Frenchie will be 6 years old, and there were some significant premium rate increases in the last couple years, and I'm concerned it will happen again after the recent large claim. It is quite possible that this is common with many pet insurance plans, so something to consider.
