Best decision ever!

We have had Healthy Paws Insurance for a couple of years for my now 10 year old Heeler-Shephard mix, Osa. I consider it one of the best decisions we made. The ease and simplicity of filing claims and the speed at which the reimbursement check arrives is a blessing. Customer service has been kind, timely, responsive and personal. Osa just had ACL surgery to the tune of 8k. Knowing that Healthy Paws would be covering 80% of that bill made the whole process smoother. We could concentrate on our sweet dog and her needs and not worry about the bill. I would highly recommend this insurance company to anyone looking to insure their pet.

Questionable increases on rates

I’ve had my pet insured with Healthy Paws for almost 5 years and overall they’ve covered much less than half of my emergency visits I’ve had. They’ve been increasing my monthly rate every year now, most recently almost double the current monthly. Most likely they’ve taken into account the age of my pet and trying to get me to quit the policy so they can profit from my previous years of coverage. They advertise how much you save you and care about your pet but the bottom line is that they’re an insurance company that is only looking out for their bottom line. I suspect this probably goes for many of their competitors. Ultimately if you can afford it it may be worth it to buy insurance for your pet but not with Healthy Paws due to their recent price increases.

I am so glad I chose Healthy Paws pet insurance for my dog. It is simple to file claims and they have been very responsive. Fast reimbursement as well. Wish I had purchased Healthy Paws insurance for my last pup.

Effortless and transparent process

Healthy Paws did an incredible job with my claims for my puppy's recent treatment. Healthy Paws has an effortless process for claims. They respond quickly and send an email outlining the process they will take to resolve the claim. Their process is transparent with no hidden surprises. Once they make their determination, an email fully explaining the return arrives. Because I had a few claims related to my puppy's treatment, they even sent followup emails asking how my pup was doing. Once they announced the amount they were paying, it appeared the next day in my bank. I couldn't be happier with the entire process. I highly recommend Healthy Paws and I'm glad I chose the policy I did.
