Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog had a herniated disc and had to be rushed to the hospital for a operation. I send in the form to Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and it was quick and easy with them letting me know every step of the process. It's been a month now and my dog is back playing again. Healthy Paws even emailed me to ask how he was doing! I'm very impressed with this insurance co. Within a week of sending in my claim, I was paid 80% which is great. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws highly enough. My 3 year-old dog suddenly developed a rare systemic skin disease that landed her in the ER, made her suffer terribly---pain, fever, etc.---and took longer than ordinary to diagnose. Healthy Paws defrayed approximately 3/4 of my ER and specialist expenses, and I was reimbursed withing a week. Later, they were kind enough to ask how how my pet was doing. Very well, thank-you! Impressed is not the word.

It can be a daunting task selecting health insurance for your new fur baby but I can honestly say that from purchasing the policy, to submitting a claim and receiving the reimbursement; Healthy Paws has made the process seamless and so easy! Our Charlie has been pretty sick over the past few months and the bills were adding up and we are so grateful we had pet health insurance to ease our minds financially so we could be emotionally available to take care of him. Their customer service is not only helpful but they actually care! They even wrote us a personal email asking how he was feeling after noticing more frequent claims being submitted! I highly recommend this insurance company if you are still trying to decide! We wouldn’t choose any other company. They are simply the best!
