Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I got Healthy Paws insurance for my Yorkie (Cleo) expecting not having to use it any time soon. About a year after I enrolled her, Cleo started having severe digestive issues that required several urgent visits to the vet and appointments with an internal medicine specialist. I sent the insurance claims to Healthy Paws and their response have been beyond anything I could have expected. The claim process is incredibly simple and they reimburse me really fast. Their customer service is amazing, the wait time when you call is minutes, something rare in these days. They even took the time to send me a very caring email enquiring about Cleo’s health. If you own a pet you should have pet insurance, and Healthy Paws is the best. BTW.. I love Trust Pilot :-)

No problems submitting claims, our pet is now eleven years old and since she was a puppy, we have had her covered, claims get reimbursed promptly and without any issues or extra paperwork. As of late, we have had more medical bills, but healthy paws have always been there. Highly recommended.

I had hoped never to test out the insurance I purchased from Healthy Paws but unfortunately, I had to during the week of Thanksgiving. My dog was very sick and ended up in the hospital with pancreatitis for most of 4 days. It was actually very scary, he was not getting any better, nothing seemed to be working, but the hospital kept trying. Thankfully on the 4th day, he was suddenly so much better I was able to bring him home and he is doing well. I was pretty concerned about the bills, but when I submitted the claims (which was amazingly simple) they paid for everything that qualified, which was mostly all the charges. And the turnaround was remarkably fast. I am so grateful for Healthy Paws and highly recommend them!
