Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog recently had to undergo an X-ray, MRI and multiple blood tests. I used Healthy Paws mobile app which makes it SO easy to submit a claim. And, they're very quick to approve. It made this anxious dog mama less worried knowing the insurance process was smooth and painless! I HIGHLY recommend pet insurance through Healthy Paws. Nothing but great experiences so far!

We lost our mastiff after 5 yrs. cost started at $65 and ended at $151 a month! $9 annual price hikes reasonable but then $30 hikes especially during covid! They paid all the claims timely. Now our new Frenchy would only have 70% instead of 90% coverage so on to a new one

I've had Healthy Paws for my Frenchie since I brought him home as a puppy. I found their rates to be very competitive and their plans comprehensive. Healthy Paws gets high marks for ease of making claims, it literally takes minutes on the app, as well as very timely reimbursements, sometimes same day for small claims. Recently my Frenchie had surgery for a disk herniation which was our first large claim. HP reviewed it and the check was sent 3 weeks later, thus I was very pleased with their responsiveness. They even emailed me checking on how he was recovering. The only thing is my Frenchie will be 6 years old, and there were some significant premium rate increases in the last couple years, and I'm concerned it will happen again after the recent large claim. It is quite possible that this is common with many pet insurance plans, so something to consider.

Great customer service and quick and easy claim processing. It was such a relief to make a decision based on what was best for my cat rather than what it might financially cost when an emergency happened. Would highly recommend Healthy Paws!
