Demanding complete medical history for each claim even though they already have it. Pay for medication only not the treatment costs.

We have used many pet insurance companies. Healthy Paws is the best, most professional of all.
This is the best coverage, honorable, timely, reliable and monthly premiums fairly priced. The customer service agents very informed and sensitive. Our Cooper would not be alive had we not had Healthy Paws Insurance.

Best pet insurance around!
Healthy Paws has an app that lets you take a snapshot of the medical bill and submit. It is a very uncomplicated process and the claim is turned around quickly. One time I didn’t provide enough information and Healthy Paws contacted my vets office without bothering me. They also follow-up to see how your pet is doing.

Excellent attention, rapid turn around
I have used Healthy Paws for three different illnesses involving my dog. Their app is user friendly, simply taking a snapshot of the documentation and submitting. Payment turn-around is just a few days. There is even follow-up to make sure your pet is doing well.

Healthy Paws was there for us!
I've had dogs all my life, and this is the first time I've purchased pet insurance. As a volunteer for a dog rescue, I had the opportunity to poll my colleagues about the pros/cons of insurance, as well as which companies they'd recommend, if any. They informed me about a number of companies, and Healthy Paws' reviews definitely came out above the rest.
Ellie Dee ended up at the emergency vet (on a Sunday!) for two days and nights one month ago. I contacted Healthy Paws, and they kept in contact, answering my questions, etc., as needed. The process and paperwork for my claim were very clear. Healthy Paws staff sent me a number of emails to check on Ellie Dee even after she'd been home for a few weeks! I was very pleased with the quick arrival of my refund check from Healthy Paws. There were no surprises during this process; I highly recommend this group!
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
