Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I adopted 2 - 6 months kittens and was recommended to purchase insurance. Since a few years ago I had a dog with no insurance the last couple of years with him were extremely expensive and I did not want to go through that again. My smaller cat has gotten sick twice and needed to go to the emergency hospital and had to stay for 5 nights to try to control his fever. I was grateful to know that I didn't have to worry about how will I pay this vet bill. Healthy Paws has made it so simple to file a claim, the claims can be approved within 3 to 3 weeks and the explanation is thorough and simple to understand. Recently Minnie was slowing down. We went to our local vet and he did an xray and some blood work and everything looked normal. He asked if he could run an ekg. We said yes. The ekg showed a 3rd degree av blockage and the only fix is a pacemaker. Our vet said Minnie needed the pacemaker that day to avoid going into cardiac arrest so we drove her to the nearest cardiologist and had the procedure done. Not once did we have to worry about the cost as we knew we had Healthy Paws. We just needed to worry about Minnie. She is now home and recovering really well. Thank you Healthy Paws.
