Quick and easy claim process

When my dog tore his CCL and was told he had to have major knee surgery to correct it, I was nervous about being able to pay for it. Thankfully the claim process with Heathy Paws was so easy and they responded very quickly and reimbursed me for the costs of his surgery. It was such a relief to not worry about the financial concerns of surgery and to be able to get him the help he needed!

Healthy Paws helped saved my pup's eye!

I've been able to consistently give my pup the medical care he needs because of Healthypaws' amazing service and coverage. My dog recently needed to have emergency surgery to save his eye and the bill was more expensive than my own lasik surgery, which was in both eyes! Insurance is a must, especially with pets that require a bit more care. Healthypaws is extremely quick with processing claims and they always reach out if anything is missing or needed. So grateful for them!

I enrolled my puppy back in March 2019

I enrolled my puppy back in March 2019. The premium increased around 35% in March 2021. Huge jump on premium. :) Do your research before enroll you pet(s).

So thankful I had this insurance for Moki

So happy to have this for my Chichi mix- Moki. When he became sick and needed a life saving surgery it was going to cost thousands. They had us reimbursed direct deposit within 4 days of submitting the claim. Moki is doing much better and we could not be happier! I am a 20 year Veteriany technician and I tell clients about healthy paws!

For real, the best and fast!

Thank God for healthy paws!!!! Without them I would be in debt overnight literally! My bill for my cat to have emergency pu surgery, etc came $7,600, HP reimbursed me 80% within three days.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
