The Perfect Insurance Company

My beloved dog was diagnosed with lymphoma and had to spend several days in the ICU on oxygen. The cost of the treatment has been astronomical (more than $20,000). Submitting claims through the app couldn't be any easier - just snap a picture of the invoice. They quickly approve claims and send reimbursement. Being able to take care of my girl without worrying at all about the cost of her treatment is amazing. Coincidentally, my mom's dog was hospitalized around the same time. She is insured through a different company and a huge portion of her treatment costs were inexplicably denied. Healthy Paws is the perfect pet insurance company - purchasing this policy was the smartest thing I've ever done.

Really came through

Got this insurance after I got my puppy. Since he is a puppy, he ate everything he could find and more. Got sick multiple times with different intestinal parasites, and coughs etc etc.. Remember that even after all the vaccines, dogs can still get parasites from dog parks, bird poops, fish carcass from beach etc. He also had other symptoms that I was scared was from blockage. You also gotta remember that when your pet is sick, Vets do lots of tests to figure out what exactly is causing it depending on the symptoms and what happened. That can cost a lot. Also he was in intensive care for 1 day because he was not eating or drinking on his own until he got better. That will also cost. Healthy Paws paid for it all 80% minus my deductible. I only wish I chose the 90% when I first got the insurance. Because you cannot change from 80 to 90 if you file a claim which makes sense. Also waiting period if I remember correctly is 15 days. So get your pet insurance before it is too late. They don’t cover routine stuff like vaccines etc but will cover illnesses and stuff that really put a dent in your wallet. If I didn’t make a decision to get pet insurance, everything would have been out of pocket. Get your pet insurances people! Especially if you got a new puppy. Puppies are crazy unpredictable. Puppies are crazy. so much work and money

Get this if you get a new puppy

Get this if you get a new puppy. Puppies are crazy unpredictable and do not have strong developed immune systems yet and get sick easily. I am so glad I got Healthy Paws when I got a new puppy. Otherwise everything would have been out of pocket. They don’t cover routine stuff like vaccines but will cover illnesses that happened after the 15 day waiting period. So don’t wait to get pet insurance. Especially if you are a new puppy owner!

Best Investment For My Pup

So, I decided to get pet insurance for my brand new pup almost four years ago and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! When I was younger, I had a golden retriever born with hip dysplasia. Despite not being able to be as active outdoors with him, he wound up being the greatest dog I ever had. The cost of surgery made it impossible for me as a kid to afford it. He still lived a great life, but I always wondered how he would have been if we could have afforded the hip replacements... Fast-forward ten years and I get this new pup with endless energy! I decided to look into pet insurance because I wanted to make sure this little guy would get the best care in the event anything happened. I checked all the reviews and decided to go with Healthy Paws, which had high ratings. What they offered was affordable and has been a lifesaver to me. He has gone from diving into murky pools and getting weird nasal infections to tearing his CCL this past month. You pay upfront, but they reimburse whatever percentage you agree on in your policy. I couldn't be happier. They cover medications, surgeries and are currently covering his rehab! You are expected to pay for your fur kiddo's yearly exams, etc, but in those unforeseen circumstances, you will thank the stars you have your policy. I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone as an insurer. I couldn't be happier and more thankful to make sure my big guy is taken care of! They're friendly, easy to get ahold of, and very quick on reimbursements. Please, do yourself and your fur kiddo a favor!
