I highly recommend Healthy Paws! I didn’t sign up until my dog was about 3 and wish I had from puppyhood. They were always fast with their reimbursements, especially when I opted for direct deposits after uploading the vet bills. When my girl finally lost her battle with mast cell cancer, they sent a very nice note and followed up soon afterwards. I’ll be reaching back out to Healthy Paws when I’m ready to get another best friend!

I've had nothing but a positive experience with HealthyPaws. When I first rescued my dog, I knew I had to get pet insurance for both peace of mind and because, well, I wanted to make sure my dog would be taken care of in emergencies. Signing up was super easy and submitting claims is simple and processed quickly. And customer service is so kind and responsive. They even reached out asking about my dog when he got sick. Highly recommend HealthyPaws and it's my go-to recommendation for friends with dogs.

When I first signed up it was because they said their rates wouldn't go up as my dogs aged. Well that was a lie! They increased my monthly payments every year, higher and higher and either tell me it's because vets are getting more expensive or because more people are making claims. Vets are not increasing prices at the rate my premiums are increasing and if they're insuring more pets technically that should lower everyone's premiums not raise them! Now they're making it drawn out and painful to get reimbursed, I've had about 6 form letter emails from them for one claim asking for more documents but not bothering to fill in the part of the form letter stating what they need. I've sent all my documents 3 times now and still no response as to why it's taking so long. I pay around $500 a month for this poor service, I've given them tens of thousands of dollars and made very few claims over the years and yet I'm treated so badly I came here to write this. I wouldn't recommend this insurance, they don't care for your pets they just want your money, as much of it as they can get.

Have had Healthy Paws since puppy was born. BEWARE OF THEIR PRICE INCREASES. Last yr in Oct 2020 they increased by 19%, now I received an email indicating a 22% increase for this yr with no claims in years. Close to a 50% increase total in 2 years!!!!So BEWARE of their unscrupulous price increases!!!!!!!
