My dog needed to have an emergency surgery to remove his gall bladder and spent 5 nights in critical care. All in all it was over $14,000. I submitted the claims and had checks in the mail within 5 days. The service was amazing and I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone with a pet. They also emailed after the fact to check in on my little dude. 20/10.

Veterinarian services are extremely expensive these days, and having pet insurance means you’re prepared when your pet has an unforeseen illness or accident that can cost thousands. My sweet dog, at age 5, developed a cataract right over his pupil, impairing his vision. Because I had such great insurance, I was able to have the cataract removed and a new lens put in, restoring his vision. Believe me, the services of a highly trained veterinarian ophthalmologist are very expensive, but Healthy paws didn’t hesitate to cover the costs per my plan. Not only did they cover the costs, my claim was processed in less than two days and the covered amount was direct deposited into my account in 4 days. Plus, if you have the need to call with a question, you’ll be helped by a very caring, animal loving individual.
