Best pet insurance!

Recommended by my veterinarian and so happy with this insurance! Reasonable prices, easy to claim AND always easy to get a hold of them (they also have an app!). I now recommend this to everyone I know with a pet!

So thankful we signed up for Healthy Paws

Our 9 year old German Shepherd, George, went through a major surgery to remove a mass in his chest. The total cost was about $15,000. Aside from a few very minor items that were clearly outside the scope of our policy, Healthy Paws covered its 80% share of the costs without question and without delay. Not having to worry as much about the financial side of things made the whole experience so much more manageable for us.

Easy to file a claim

They have taken very good care of piper. I would recommend buying the 60.00 policy if you can afford it.

Go with Healthy Paws, can't go wrong!

I've recently had to take advantage of my Healthy Paws policy for my English Bulldog who tore his ACL and had to get TPLO surgery. Healthy Paws' claims services was so stress-free - all I had to do with submit the vet invoice on their site, then got the coverage amount in my bank within 10 days. They were clear on what's covered (surgery, medication, rehabilitation) and what wasn't (ie. normal vet check up's, herbal/supplements), but it's all fair. And a rep from Healthy Paws checked in a week after Uni's surgery to ask how he was doing. Healthy Paws' monthly payments could be a little high (esp for a Eng Bulldog in a pricey urban city), but end of the day, if you ever need to actually have insurance kick in, you'll want an insurance company that's known to be a good partner. Would recommend!

Update: Service has been good for me but PRICE HIKES are crazy

Update: Changed my 5 star to a 2 star. I left a 5-star review recently for Healthy Paws because it was easy to submit the claim for my dog's TPLO surgery (after he tore his knees/ACL in an accident), and pretty easy to get payment. That still stands. But less than a month from that claim, I got an email saying that my monthly premium has gone up 50% - now at over $270 per month. (I checked competitors and they're still charging around the previous amount of ~$180 for my dog's city/age/breed/etc) They say premiums do not go up because of claims, but it feels suspect. I reached out to ask, and the generic reason they gave was that overall pet owners have been submitting more claims, they're paying more out, and now they have to increase prices. My dog's only 6...I can't even imagine how much premium they'll try to charge by the time he's an elderly dog. ----- I've recently had to take advantage of my Healthy Paws policy for my English Bulldog who tore his ACL and had to get TPLO surgery.
