Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our dog unfortunately had some major veterinary needs in the last two years including a large tumor removal in the jaw (needed part of his jaw removed and a few teeth). As if that was not enough after he recovered from that ordeal he tore his CCL and required TPLO surgery. Healthy Paws came through on both occasions and paid exactly what they promised to when we originally purchased the policy. Be aware your costs to insure your animal will increase over time, but this is true of all carriers not just healthy paws.

We love love love our Healthy Paws insurance! This company has been so very helpful for us. I have signed both of my dogs up when they were puppies. One of our dogs has used the services for severe allergies and an unexpected stomach surgery. As soon as I submit my claims I immediately get a notification notifying me of the status of my claims and when they are working on them. If I have ever had any questions, I have reached out by email and phone and they are very helpful. The application is also very easy to use. They have helped me pay my dogs vet bills and I couldn’t do this without them!!! If you are questioning it, do it! It’s worth it!!

Always an issue when I submit a claim for our dogs medication. One month it is covered and the next month it's not. Always have to call and speak with a Supervisor. I feel it's time to look for another better prepared company.
