My dog required surgery to remove a growth towards the end of last year. Not only did Healthy Paws quickly review my claim and reimburse me, but a member of their team emailed me a few days later to check in to see how he was doing after surgery. I thought that was so incredibly nice and above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced from my own doctor or health insurance. Very quick response and supportive during a very stressful time when our pooch was VERY Ill. Thank goodness- now he is on the mend thanks to our pet insurance allowing us to easily make medical decisions knowing we were backed by our insurance.

We lost our Sarabelle to osteosarcoma in 2012, and the treatment costs were onerous. So, when we brought the littermate brothers Sammie and Elias, and our heeler hybrid Sitka Rose into our lives, we decided to purchase pet life insurance. We researched and decide on Healthy Pet. Part of the reason is that we can predict and plan in the costs of maintenance - the vaccines, physicals, etc. However, we can not whether our family members will have accidents, or catestrophic illnesses or health conditions and those costs are the ones that are financial killers. So we decided on Healthy Paws. It was a decision that we do not regret as our two boys, healthy most of their lives, have had structural and health conditions this past year. With the two of them together the costs have been a burden that Healthy Paws has relieved us of by their compassionate and prompt processing of the boys' vet claims. We feel fortunate to have Healthy Paws there for us.

We purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance in 2013 when our two Shiloh Shepherds, Blue Heeler Hybrid, and Ocicat were pups and young cats as we had lost the year before our sweet Sarabelle to osteosarcoma and were well aware of the costs of treatment for severe illnesses and conditions. It was truly a fortuitous decision. Though Little Boy, our Ocicat passed away uneventfully, and our Heeler continuous to be her irascible self, our two littermate Shiloh brothers had/have structural (wobblers) and health conditions (IBD) that require extensive testing and treatment. Healthy Paws came through for us for both of our boys. Though we remained judicious in our consideration of testing and treatment,, knowing that Healthy Paws would be there to financially support our decisions made a big difference to us and our boys. Their compassionate processing of our claims for the loss of one of our boys while did not lessen the pain, it gave us financial peace of mind. And our remaining boy is looking healthy and we look forward to several more years with him. We are so fortunate that we have Healthy Paws behind us.
