Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Words cannot express how thankful I am to Healthy Paws during a very stressful and scary time. My beloved French Bulldog all of a sudden started shaking and her back legs were super wobbly and unstable. I rushed her to the emergency vet hospital where she was examined with suspected IVDD. They kept her over night for medical hospitalization. The stay itself was over $1300. I am so grateful that I have such great pet insurance in situations like these. Not only did they cover majority of the cost, and they sent me an email to check up on my Frenchie to make sure she is doing well. I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws. Truly a life saver!

Healthy Paws has been amazing! My 1-year old dog has had a few episodes of GI issues that required a lot of testing - and it was so easy to submit my claims and reimbursement was fast! I am so pleased with the service and support!

Having this insurance I can feel secure about getting the best care for both of my dogs. Although I always hope not to have to use it, recently my dog had some eye issues and had to have an expensive eye procedure done, I didn’t even hesitate to get it done ASAP because I knew my insurance would look into my claim quickly and reimburse me for the covered items at the 80% rate I signed up with. I can’t imagine not having it because there’s no way I could afford that necessary expensive eye procedure my dog needed. There have been several times I’ve needed my insurance over the past few years for both my dogs and I am so happy I chose this insurance. Their plans are reasonably priced, they respond quickly to your claims and they have excellent customer service, even checking in on my dog to see how he was doing after his procedure. This is the best insurance and I wouldn’t choose anyone else over them.

Our 9 year old German Shepherd, George, went through a major surgery to remove a mass in his chest. The total cost was about $15,000. Aside from a few very minor items that were clearly outside the scope of our policy, Healthy Paws covered its 80% share of the costs without question and without delay.
