Best pet insurance

Easy to work with and quick with claims. They checked on my dog after her surgery and were able to pay the vet directly. The two tplo surgeries were really hard to go through but they made it easier. I recommend them to anyone with an active dog like mine!

Healthy Paws = The Godsend to Keep My Fur Family Healthy! Thank you HP!

Healthy Paws has been nothing but a godsend for helping keep my family healthy and happy! Our fur babies have had a few incidents where we've either needed a Blue Pearl Visit or unfortunately a surgery or (three in our unfortunate case!) Because of Healthy paws, I'm able to make sure my family is always well taken care of and I'm not forced to choose between the care they need and some other important necessity like food or shelter. If you have a fur baby you should never go a day with out this protection. Thank you Healthy Paws! You've found a customer for life. All of our fur babes, now and in the future will have your protection. Thank you again!

Claims are never paid

You will pay insurance premium for fake peace of mind. Any claim you submit will be rejected as pre-existing conditions (despite the fact you are 5 years in policy) or because the treatment is actually classified by HealthyPaws as an exam or as a procedsure for treating something that "may have been" (this is citation from conversation with their customer support) a pre-existing condition. There will be tons of excuses, and actually NEVER covered any costs. For example, we have paid 11500 in premiums over last 5 years and recveived $270 in total claims reimbursements because those couple cases were simply impossible for them to avoid paying. All those were back in 2017. Since then they seem to have changed their policies and all claims are being unpaid. ALL other claims are being rejected, even when our dog hurt herself and vets had to do stiching - it still was not covered because that somehow went into their "non-covered procedures" category. Don't pay for this insurance. Get more expensive one, but that will actually cover your claims. You will end up paying less. They were good back in 2016. In 2021 - they are simply pointless. Better putyour money on a saving account - it will bring you way more benefits. Just check the 1-4 reviews - they all are talking that actual treatment procedures are not covered while premiums are skyrocketing. Best case - they will pay for medication but NOT THE TREATMENT. I.e. they will cover 5 - 10% of acxtual vet costs. This will never cover your montly premium. All recent 9* -plus reviews seem to be paid, I don't see how recent reviews can be remotely positive.

No worries

So glad I made the decision to get Healthy Paws insurance when Skye was a puppy. Just had major knee surgery and they were great. Super easy claim process and they even reached out to ask how Skye is recovering.

We have been with Healthy Paws for…

We have been with Healthy Paws for close to 8 years, it was maybe a little more expensive than some of the other options but we are more than satisfied with the service we have received. Filing a claim is so easy and response time has never been more than a day or two. The annual deductible is very reasonable compared to others and I really appreciate the option of 90% reimbursement level. I haven't ever had to consider a compromise when thinking about Benny's (our dog) healthcare and for that I am very grateful. Especially as he has some pretty significant surgery recently!

Monthly Cost
