Most fast and reliable claim process I have ever dealt with

My dog Ginger had an amazing thanksgiving until it took a toll on her stomach during the middle of the night. She threw up and had blood in her stool. I Immediately rushed her to the vet and they were able to take care of my best friend. The cost of her ER visit were close to 1 grand. I scanned all of the paperwork and bill and sent it to Healthy Paws to see if my dog was eligible for reimbursement. The claim process were very easy to apply and process. It took less than 10 days for the to approve and send me a direct deposit to cover most of Gingers bill. I am forever grateful that this company cares about their customer (my pocket lol) but more importantly my best friend Ginger life. Ever since she has felt better and running around again wagging her tail of joy. Thank you Healthy Paws.

We have had Healthypaws since my 5 year old Doberman was a puppy

We have had Healthypaws since the beginning of our 5 your old Doberman's life. The claim process is very simple as all you do is take a photo of the invoice using their mobile app and many times it only takes 1 business day until it is processed and the funds are deposited into your bank account. Their policy details are straight forward and we have never had any issue (knock on wood) with Healthypaws. They have been a lifesaver as our Doberman has been diagnosed with a liver issue, and she also has been having issues with one of her legs. We had another popular pet insurance plan with our previous Doberman and it was very cumbersome manual process to file a claim and it took at least 3 weeks for it to be processed and a check eventually would come in the mail. I highly recommend this pet insurance company!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
