Incredible insurance company

I’ve been with Healthy Paws since my dog was a puppy, and they’ve honestly made some really stressful moments a lot easier. Filing a claim is simple, they don’t nitpick or push back, and reimbursements come through quickly. When you’re already worried about your dog, not having to fight insurance or jump through hoops means everything. I’m genuinely grateful for how easy seeing specialists and making decisions has been because of them. Would absolutely recommend.

Healthy Paws is one of the main reasons my baby is alive today.

Healthy Paws is one of the main reasons why my cat is still alive today. My cat was diagnosed about 2 years ago with a rare disease. Healthy Paws has been amazing with the submitting and reimbursement of claims. Whether it is emergency vet visits or the monthly tests and medicines that are needed to keep him alive, Healthy Paws is always there to help with the bills. I can't say enough good things about this pet insurance.

Very satisfied - great service!

I've carried Healthy Paws insurance on my girl for 9 years now. When the time finally came where I truly needed the coverage, the company was right there! My dog developed ITP and needed to be hospitalized for several days. They had no problem covering the event - and the subsequent follow-up monitoring and meds are also immediately taken care of. I am so relieved to have Healthy Paws insurance!

Having an ill pet is difficult enough

Having an ill pet is difficult enough. However, having a partner such as Healthy Paws, allows me to provide the best care possible for my pet without having finances dictate the direction I go in. Thank you HP for having my and my pets' backs, paws, tails, etc.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
