Healthy Paws seems to really care about…

Healthy Paws seems to really care about my dog and his healthy issues. The claims process is very simple and claims are processed quickly! When you have a sick or injured dog, the last thing you need is to spend precious time completing documents for insurance. Healthy Paws makes the process quick and easy! I recommend them highly!

Healthy Paws was incredible!

Healthy Paws was incredible in helping with Ally's treatment. I was hesitant in opting for TTA surgery after trying several conservative steps (rest, NSAIDs, and a brace) but ultimately it was necessary. Healthy Paws covered a huge portion of the surgery and checked in to make sure Ally was doing well. I can't say enough great things about their support!

Premium Hikes are Insane

I've had Healthy Paws for 8 years for my 2 dogs and they just gave me a 200% premium increase. WHAT A JOKE.

Peace of mind

Our dog had to have a serious and complex surgery. Healthy paws reimbursed us within a week. This really helped to alleviate some of our stress during a very difficult time. It is so hard and sad to see her injured but we are glad that we can give her the care she needs.

I love the quick response and constant…

I love the quick response and constant communication upon forwarding invoices. The process is seamless. Review and payment directly into my account is also completed in a few days. I have had a variety of different pet insurances thru the years, I rank Healthy Paws #1.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
