Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best…

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the best insurer out there. They do what they promise and respond to vet bill claims quickly with few red tape issues. For 8 years they have been dependable. It's not cheap to have good pet insurance, but in the lifetime of my pet baby, it is worth it if it is Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws has been our furry companions insurance for over 10 years and with a couple of dogs. Everyone we have dealt with has been very compassionate and helpful. I would highly recommend it to everyone. The quality of care, ease of filing a claim and receiving payment is amazing!

Healthy Paws has always been excellent!

Healthy Paws has always been excellent to us & our many, many, rescued & adopted pets insured by them since 2017! Good communication, quick turnaround times, easy upload process, reasonable about claims, even when we've had more claims in 1 year vs another (due to senior dogs being sick)... Thank you HP!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
