Appalled at Company's Behavior & Integrity
I've never had too much of a problem with Healthy Paws. I've had 90% coverage and $250 deductible since roughly 2016.
Today, customer service emailed me stating that my dog's medical records said a different breed than what she was registered with Healthy Paws.
The different breeds in question?
Hound Mix
Mixed Breed
They said if I didn't get my vet to send medical records stating she was a mixed breed, that they'll drop my coverage to 70% , 500$ deductible, and raise my premium up by $169.01.
My dog is a mixed breed. Hound mix is best guess. I have no idea how they are actually trying to pass this off as a legitimate issue.
