Awesome!!

My 18 month old Lab mix fractured a canine tooth while home alone in her wire crate. We think she caught her mouth in the wires under the door, got stuck and then broke her tooth at the gum line trying to free herself. The veterinary dentist said hers was classic dental fracture from a crate. We have used wire crates for the past 15 years with many dogs--but no more wire crates for us!Healthy Paws was excellent. This was my first claim for the 2 dogs I have insured. The were very helpful, responded same day to my claims and I received their check 6 days after Hazel's tooth extraction. They even sent a e-mail a week later to see how Hazel is doing. I am really impressed with their service! I'm one very happy customer!!

First Claim

Just a few words about our first claim for our Akita female Drea. She developed a large sore that was growing worse by the day and was not responding to the care we could give her. She became very subdued and feverish and we took her to for emergency treatment. This treatment, plus the follow-ups cost approximately $1000. We submitted our first claim with some anxiety. We needn't have worried. Within one day we were contacted that our claim was being processed; within one week we were contacted with the full accounting of our claim reimbursement, as well as a notification that our payment was being mailed. In short, this claim was handled professionally, quickly and, even more surprising, with concern and very cordial communications. There is nothing more that we could have asked; very highly recommended.

Healthy Paws Truly Cares About Your Furry Friend

My older buddy, Barry developed a nasty ear infection that would not go away. It then lead to secondary issues in which he began to develop nerve paralysis on his left side (same side as his ear infection). He could no longer blink or close his left eye and it was affecting the use of his left hind leg as well where he could not support himself using that leg, nor walk properly or do the normal activities cats do. It came to be that for a good 2-3 months I was paying a visit to the vet every week. At every point Healthy Paws was quick to process the claims. I have been more than satisfied with the customer service from Healthy Paws! My experience has been thus far exceptional because they go above and beyond processing claims. Sending a note to check in on my furry buddy shows that Healthy Paws truly cares about their clients' pets' well being and affirms my choice to selecting Healthy Paws over other pet insurance. It was a personal note written by someone who have it some thought because they asked that I "give him a great big hug from us tonight!" When I responded I received a quick response back personalized the response I had sent. I tell all my fellow pet parents about how great Healthy Paws is. Keep up the awesome work!

Prompt & Caring Service

I recently had to take my cat to the emergency clinic due to his consumption of a string, which I knew presented a risk to his intestines. The veterinarian attempted to induce vomiting but when that failed to work, I was offered the option of a endoscopy - a non-invasive way of removing the string. While the veterinarian indicated that it was possible the string would pass without incident, I didn't want to take any risk and opted for the procedure. It required my cat to be anesthetized and administered the requisite medication and bloodwork, amounting to a cost of over $1,000. Fortunately, the procedure was a success and the veterinarian was convinced after seeing the length of the string that it had been a good decision. I processed my claim two days following the procedure. The form - pre-printed with all of the my cat's and the insurance information - was extremely simple to complete. All I had to do was scan it and the clinic receipt and medical record to pdf files and submit them via email. Before the day was through, I had confirmation that the information had been received and the claim was being processed. A short time after that, I received a follow-up email stating that my check would be mailed. The message included a description of the coverage, which was exactly in line with my own calculations. I received the check within a week. A few days later, Healthy Paws sent another message asking after my cat's health and seeking confirmation that everythin
