Zack started vomiting on Sunday morning, took him to the generalist, then on Monday to the specialist. They thought he had a small bowel blockage, and were very concerned. After comprehensive testing and consults, he was diagnosed with a severe stomach virus and hospitalized for 3 days.I emailed all bills to Healthy Paws on Thursday and the claim was completed by them on that same day. Amazing service. Everything was handled with such efficiency, and care for a very nervous mom. I'm so glad I moved my pets to them, they process claims so quickly, no games or delaying tactics, they're just first class. I recommend them to everyone who wants the best coverage for their pets and wants a trustworthy company.

Healthy Paws... Fast friendly service!!
I have filed a couple claims with healthy pet and both times they paid the claim within three days!!! They added the ability to file a claim online which makes things incredibly easy. They also follow up to see how my dog is doing, and it's not a boilerplate email either. You can easily and quickly talk to a real person!

Take your love to the next level!
My french bulldog Lola has been covered by Healthy Paws since 2011, and I can't say enough good about them. If you truly love your pet you should get them coverage thru HP. Dont get caught off guard by unexpected accidents/illness and have to think about your checking account balance first before giving your best friend the care they deserve. They have seen her thru skin allergies to a recent hemilaminectomy which ran upwards of $8,000. Just look at the monthly fee as a savings account for their care. I recently signed up my rescued persian kitty grace, because I want her to have the same advantage that Lola has had and will continue to have. xoxo

Everything I could ask for - and then some.
I've had health insurance coverage for all the dogs I've owned over the past 18 years, and have had experience with other companies, including the ones that were top rated at the time. Healthy Paws is the best thing that ever happened to pet owners. I've recently gone through a heart-breaking diagnosis and eventual death of a six-year-old, healthy Airedale Terrier. His previous owner died from cancer, and we adopted him through Airedale Rescue at the age of five. We had all his medical records, and he was a healthy, lively dog. We insured him with Healthy Paws as soon as he joined our family. He had lived with us for only seven months when he was diagnosed with a very rare and deadly form of lymphoma. There is one drug that can prolong a good quality of life for shorter or longer times, and his first treatment appeared to be very successful. Unfortunately, in eliminating the active cancer cells, it also destroyed his bone marrow. We hoped he could recover his ability to regenerate essential white blood cells, neutraphils, and platelets, and he showed signs of improvement. In all our efforts to save him, Healthy Paws never let us down, making it possible for us to do what was best for him instead of worrying about how we could afford to do it. After six weeks of fighting, he lost all the progress he had made, and it was apparent that he had nothing left to fight with. We decided, under no pressure from anyone, that the time had come to end his ordeal. There was nothing l

My CockaPoo had to have Cataract surgery
We rescued Andy at age 1.5. I spoke with a friend in Northern Cal about Getting Pet Insurance. She has a dog walking business. She recommended HEALTHY PAWS. After doing my research I decided to go with the insurance that covered more and had a 10 out of 10 rating. There was only one other Pet Insurance company I was considering. What was #1 on the list for me was I wanted any condition that would be covered if congenital/hereditary; not many cover this. I was hoping that they "really" did as we all know…"in the fine print" it may have a loop hole. Let me tell you…they stick to their word. That is important to me and it wasn't a "trick" that they covered what they said. 2 years later he developed cataracts at 3.5 years old. (I knew that poodles and Cocker Spaniels 'could' have that possibility). Boy oh boy was I happy to have HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE. The bills have come to over $6,000 and most of that was covered (after my $250 deductible). A few months before his cataracts were detected I almost dropped it because i thought I could cut back on unnecessary bills. I am so GRATEFUL that was not the case as I sighed a big relief when he had the surgery and we were covered.
They have been a very friendly company to work with and care about the pet and the the pet parent. The check is in the mail the same week I send in the claim. What I love is that you can take a photo of the bill with your phone and upload right on line and it gets processed the same day. They make it ve
