Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I purchased Healthy Paws insurance shortly after getting my Border Collie puppy. I'm very happy I did. Who knew how much could go wrong with a puppy? I've been able to get my Jazz the care she needed. The customer service has been excellent and claims paid very fast. Everything has been very straight forward. I would highly recommend.

My boy Demarco was diagnosed with IMHA,It is an auto immune disorder. He was in the hospital for 5 days and was on 5 different medications. If his condition was to get worse he would have needed a blood transfusion. I knew that this would be very expensive so I called Healthy Paws explained everything to them and I was covered for everything except for the exam fee. Thank god for Healthy Paws because without them I do not think that my boy would be alive today because I would not be able to afford all of the medical bills. Demarco is doing so much better but he is still fighting this disease.

My experience with healthy paws was Amazing! They processed my claim so promptly and emailed me right away to let me know the process was under way. They also emailed me once the claim was finished and the check was on the way, with the amount on the check that I was receiving. My Dog mordecai a 6yr old Pit bull had torn the two main ligaments in his leg/knee. His knee was actually dislocating when he tried to walk! He needed surgery quick to get him out of the great pain he was in. In a very emotional and hard time in our life's Healthy Paws pet insurance came through with flying colors! They made it very easy for us!!

If you are considering insurance for your pet, go with Healthy Paws! We enrolled when our lab was just 3 months old. Each time I have sent in a claim, large or small, I receive a friendly email and receive a check within a few days. Recently, our 18 month old lab was diagnosed with a torn ligament in her knee (very common). She needed a VERY expensive $5,000 surgery to repair her knee. After submitting the claim, we were reimbursed for 90% of the cost and received our reimbursement check in a matter of days! If I have questions, I always get a live person on the phone who is both knowledgeable and friendly! Healthy Paws is a lifesaver...BEST DECISION we made for our fur baby!
