HEALTHY PAWS was the BEST Decision!

If you are considering insurance for your pet, go with Healthy Paws! We enrolled when our lab was just 3 months old. Each time I have sent in a claim, large or small, I receive a friendly email and receive a check within a few days. Recently, our 18 month old lab was diagnosed with a torn ligament in her knee (very common). She needed a VERY expensive $5,000 surgery to repair her knee. After submitting the claim, we were reimbursed for 90% of the cost and received our reimbursement check in a matter of days! If I have questions, I always get a live person on the phone who is both knowledgeable and friendly! Healthy Paws is a lifesaver...BEST DECISION we made for our fur baby!

Worth the peace of mind

Earlier this month, my 5 month old puppy was vomiting up giant globs of mucus all night long, then was fine during the day. It took a few vet trips to figure out that he had swallowed a foreign object that was trapped in his stomach. We got him in for endoscopic surgery ASAP and on the road to recovery but it was extremely stressful between a sad puppy, messes of bodily fluids, days of sleep deprivation, and the possibility of invasive surgery if things didn't go well. The one stress I NEVER HAD was how I was going to afford the medical care. This enabled me to makefast decisions and get puppy the surgery he needed before any more complications arose. What would have been a ~$1500 weekend ended up costing about $250. The claims were processed quickly and covered everything as expected. The calculations of coverage are clearly spelled out and people were easily accessible on the phone when I had questions. The check came in time to pay off the credit card bill for the surgery. I have been recommending Healthy Paws to all of my friends/family, particularly those with puppies as they don't always make the best decisions. I am so glad I made the decision to protect Bowser.

Healthy Paws did not let me down

My 1 year old golden doodle got a hold of a bottle of ibuprofen. Not sure how many he ate but this was a serious emergency. The pet emergency center said he was in kidney failure. After 72 hours on iv fluids, meds and hospitalization he is going to be just fine. The bill was expensive so i was eager to get the claim submitted to Healthy Paws for reimbursement. This was my first claim with Healthy Paws... And i am very impressed! I submitted the claim via app on i phone ( super easy) right there in doctors office, claim was processed very fast and I've already received the reimbursement . I could track process of claim from app which was within 48 hours! During this very stressful time the last thing i needed was to worry about my pets insurance coming through. Healthy Paws rates a 10! They even followed up with a considerate email checking on my pet.

You Will Not Be Disappointed!

Like you're probably doing right now, I scoured the internet looking for reviews on the various pet insurance companies out there. I settled with Healthy Paws as it seemed to have the best customer service and claim turnaround time based on reviews (both here and on Yelp). I can now truly say that having Healthy Paws is the best thing we could have ever done for our French Bulldog as well as for our peace of mind and wallet. At 10 months old, Henry has racked up close to $3,000 in vet bills, $2,000 of that being at the emergency vet for a weekend. The emergency vet trip was my first claim to Healthy Paws. After a weekend of stress, worry, and mounting credit card totals due to his delicate stomach, I contacted Healthy Paws on the following Tuesday. I submitted the invoices as well as his scanned vet records and by the next Monday, I had my reimbursement check in my hands ready for deposit. Incredible. Not too mention that the folks at Healthy Paws always send a follow-up email asking about Henry and how he is doing. Each time I have had a claim, this has been the standard of care and timeliness that I have received. Healthy Paws has paid for itself multiple times over for our little guy. I have referred Healthy Paws to my friends, family, and co-workers. I only wish they covered people too, since they are better than my insurance company!

Healthy Paws pays it forward!

I have had health insurance coverage for my feline and canine pets for over a decade and have tried a number of different pet insurance companies over the years. I discovered Healthy Paws about a year ago and for the first time I have experienced how wonderful and refreshing it feels to be working with a pet insurance company that personalizes communications with it's clients and genuinely cares about the well being of their companion animals. Not only is Healthy Paws amazingly efficient in the receipt and processing of pet insurance claims but they are unique in that they cover congenital conditions that certain pure bred animals may endure during their lifetime as well as not providing a lifetime reimbursement limit of claims per pet. This in itself sets this company apart from most others. Our most recent claim involved an expensive surgical procedure to correct the congenitally stenotic nares of a Persian cat we had recently adopted in Colorado through Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue. This condition had not until recently caused her to exhibit symptoms of respiratory distress. It progressed rather quickly, and was causing her an increasing amount of difficulty with breathing and thus inhibited her from being able to exercise and play with our other kitties. Because of the considerable financial assistance we received from Healthy Paws, our kitty was able to receive the best specialist veterinary care, surgery, as well as extensive diagnostic testing to rule out a
