Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

After thorough research on pet insurance for our 8 week old Labrador puppy and Healthy Paws was at the top of the list. My wife was a bit skeptical because the coverage and low monthly premium seemed too good to be true. We went ahead and purchased the pet insurance through Healthy Paws, hoping that we would never have to use it. Unfortunately, we did have to use the insurance due to multiple issues in the past few months and our puppy just turned 11 months. We have lost count of how many times we had to go to the vet for blood work and x-rays. This was the test as to whether Healthy Paws was really too good to be true. They are amazing! Everything from communication to their customer service to the reimbursement process was great. They acknowledge and confirm anything we have submitted to them by email. If we have questions, the customer service representatives are knowledgeable and friendly. As soon as our reimbursement request is approved, we receive a check within a week. AND they have sent us a personal note to check in on our puppy, which we appreciated. The past few months have been stressful, but Healthy Paws never added to that stress. They truly live up to their words and commitment to their clients. THANK YOU, Healthy Paws!

Recently my little girl Saedee got bit by a dog at the dog park. She had to have a little surgery and stitches in the emergency room. I never thought this would happen to my sweet little girl but within a minute she was attacked to the tune of $810. My claim with Healthy Paws was handled professionally and with care for my precious Saedee. They were concerned for her from beginning to end. I have had Healthy Paws insurance for a few years now and am very happy with them. I received my reimbursement check within 2 weeks. I would highly recommend . I did a lot of research before choosing them and they have proven themself time and time again. So happy to have this insurance with them.

From the signing up, customer service, claims process and payouts everything about Healthy Paws has been nothing short of perfect. They take the time to talk with you and help you get the paperwork from the vet. They pay the claims as promised, quickly! I recommend them to everyone! I have a french Bulldog and they have their issues and I feel comfortable with healthy Paws. This is my only experience with pet insurance, but so far it has been good. I choose HP based on the review on this site when we got our frenchie and I am happy I did.

I've had Healthy Paws pet insurance on my dog, Cami, since I got her two years ago. They were wonderful helping me handle renal failure with my previous lab and made that sad experience alot less stressful. In fact, their excellent service, prompt claim settlement and caring followups played a large part in my decision to get another dog. Cami has had several issues already. She's an athletic, energy filled bundle of natural hunter and like a typical lab, sometimes leaps before she looks. Healthy Paws has been there for us every step of the way, making it possible for me to always give Cami the best medical care possible without hesitation. I wish I could say that I've never had to file a claim but with this little girl, they have been many and hefty! Healthy Paws lets me worry about my dog, not expenses. I wouldn't trade that for anything.

This was our second claim with Healthy Paws as unfortunately our sweet dobie/shepherd mix tore the ACL on both her right and left knees. Healthy Paws processed both claims immediately and our reimbursement check arrived within days of submitting. The icing on the cake was the thoughtful email they sent after her surgery to send their well wishes. I wish my own health insurance was this prompt and responsive - Healthy Paws is a great company.
