Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our dog had a mast cell tumor on his leg that required surgical removal. We submitted several claims over the course of his treatment. All claims were processed quickly and courteously. I was amazed and am so appreciative of the amazingly fast service and genuine concern expressed from Healthy Paws. They are one of the good guys and I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering insuring their pets.

Not only is the insurance affordable, but Healthy Paws was quick to resolve the claim and even sent an email to check on the health of my dog. I'm going to insure my other dog now. Great customer service, responsive and speedy.

I've submitted several claims now and each one handled quickly. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I recently had a bill of nearly $800 for my cat's acute pancreatitis. I submitted my claim electronically on Saturday night, and I had my reply on Monday morning with the benefits summary-I had the check within a few days. I've had nothing but good experiences with Healthy Paws and recommend it to everyone I know with a pet.

I can not say enough about Healthy Pets. They are truly the best. My dog Tikva had a tumor removed leaving a bill to me of $550. Healthy Pets took care of almost the whole bill as I had met my deductible and was now covered 90/10. This was great, but even better was the follow up emails from them ensuring Tikva was ok. These were not computer generated emails, but emails from people who genuinely care. Maybe someday people insurance will take a hint from Healthy Pets on how to truly be a partner in the health of the patient. To make things even better, I submitted my claim on line in about 5 minutes and the claim was processed the same day with a reimbursement check sent out the next day.THANK YOU Healthy Pets. This year our 12 year old dog developed glaucoma which caused pressure to build in his eyes resulting in a lot of pain. Our vet recommended a procedure that would reduce the swelling but it would be costly. After the procedure Jackson felt better immediately and Healthy Paws reimbursed us 70% of the cost. We are very grateful for their quick turn-around and support in keeping our pet healthy.
