Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I had a fantastic experience. My dog spent 4 days in the hospital. Since it was quite expensive I was hoping to get payment back from his insurance quickly. I submitted the bills and the turnaround was very quick. The customer service was fantastic. They kept me in the loop the whole time. I would definitely suggest Healthy Paws to anyone.

This is the second time this year, our terrior Ralph had surgery, first for a hernia repair and just a week ago for patellar subluxation repair. I am so pleased with Healthy Paws. After I file the claim, I got the check within a week. I have the $250 deductible and pay 20% and it works out very well. I love the personal touch I get from their nice emails checking on my pup. I believe they truly care! I was told they all used to work in a Veterinary office, but when working for Healthy Paws they have no contact with the animals and miss it. So I send pictures of my babies to them and they are very happy to get them. I would recommend them to anyone, and I do to my friends. I'm very happy with them!

My dog Katy had a procedure to do a root canal. Post surgery - claim was submitted and I was reimbursed the 80% in approximately 3 weeks. Fantastic! What I love about Healthy Paws besides being reimbursed in a timely manner is their accessibility, caring and helpful over the phone and I experienced wonderful communication with them. Their emails of concern over our Katy was so appreciated. I feel the representatives of Healthy Paws definitely strives to go over that %100 of effort. I've used other insurance companies before for my pups and while they are good, healthy paws is the best!! Customer service is always friendly and knowledgable about whatever I'm calling for. They are straightforward about coverage. There are no surprises with what is and is not covered. My dog recently went into a major surgery to have his knee reconstructed due to an acl tear. While I was expected to pay the costs upfront, I knew exactly what my reimbursement for the surgery would be. With confidence that healthy paws would send the reimbursement quickly, I was able to use a credit card knowing that I would have the reimbursement check in my hard before I even got the credit card statement! I brag about healthy paws because when I tell people how great the insurance is they are amazed! Best part is... It's totally affordable and so worth the minimal money paid each month to have peace of mind my babies will be taken care of! You can also personalize coverage as far as yearly deductible and reimbursement rate to make it a few dollars cheaper or more expensive each month based on your needs. Thank you healthy paws for making this surgery possible because without you it wouldn't be happening anytime soon!!!

I purchased insurance for my 8 year old Chihuahua, Cobe, from Healthy Paws last year after tons of great word-of-mouth reviews and endorsements. When I finally did have to use his coverage after a nasty dog attack, I was not disappointed. Everyone I emailed with was kind and had sweet things to say to Cobe in his recovery. They all made the process easier and took the worry away while I was carrying for my wounded pup. The check came quickly and they even cover his hydrotherapy! I also think it's great that the annual deductible is rolling rather than on a calendar year. Kudos to you Healthy Paws!
