Complete Coverage of Feline Limb Amputation

Having one of your pets get sick is terrible.... And putting a financial burden on top of that is even worse. When my cat had to have one of his hindlimbs amputated due to cancer, I felt extremely guilty to be thinking about cost... but we know how expensive veterinary visits can be. Healthy Paws allowed me to focus on my kitty and get him back to his normal self without having to worry about paying back the veterinary bills. Thank you so much!!!

Insurance that works like it should!

We were very happy with the service we have received from Healthy Paws. Our yellow lab Jake started to favor his back leg, and we were upset to find out it was a torn ligament. Of course we would do anything we could for him, but the surgery was going to be expensive ($3,200). We had no problems at all getting a check for the amount agreed upon in our policy. Just some paperwork from Jake's vets and in a few days the check came. At least that part was worry free. Jake still has some healing to do, but we think he will be fine.

Very fast claim settlement and great support

We adopted a golden retriever and our vet recommended Healthy Paws. Recently he became very ill and needed X-rays and many other tests. Claim procedure was easy and all online. Healthy Paws settled claims very quickly and we already have the checks - very pleased we chose them

This is the easiest and best pet insurance!

We have had two emergent surgeries for our fur baby and if it was not for healthy paws we would have not been able to save her life! Healthy paws is so easy to work with and they reimburse you very quickly! Healthy paws also cares about your pet. They always send emails to check on the health of our little girl. We love them!

Amazing claim service

The treatment for my Riley's traumatic spinal injury has been comprehensive and expensive. Healthy Paws has made the claim process so easy! The email updates and pre-filled claim forms are outstanding. The coverage is just what it said it was when we got the policy 3 years ago. We do not have to worry about Riley's care affecting our ability to pay our other bills. Such peace of mind is priceless.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
