Great service and product

Our 9 month old puppy accidentally got into the garbage and, unfortunately mixed in was a lot of grapes. We rushed to the ER but fortunately everything came out alright in the end. The bill however was nearly 2500 bucks, including a vet's follow-up visit the next-day. This included two nights in the ER, etc. We were able to easily use the app to take a picture of the bills and make our claim. I had the 90% coverage and I was glad. Being pretty cynical, I assumed everything would get rejected on technicalities or would get lost in their system but they put it thru right away. And they even sent an email checking on my dog. Amazing.

Love them!

Our Lil french bulldog, Rondo, has had 2 spine surgeries now. So sad!! With healthy paws we have a 500 deductible and 80% coverage...they pay the 80% of the entire bill which was about 6 grand. They don't pay for exams, so this was minus the 96 for exam, but all the costs of mri, meds, surgery, hospitalization they pay for. I'm happy we didn't have to make the choice to pay or put him down like so many other friends have told me they had to make. We love our bear!!

Incredible Ins. company!

It was hard to believe that within 48 hours of my claim being made, I got confirmation and in less that one week we were paid. On top of that, they emailed me to see the progress of my dog.

Claims are quickly paid and fair

I started to search for a pet insurance company a fews days after we brought Daphne, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, home from her breeder. This was just in case she ever needed serious medical care. Then a few months before Daphne turned 2, she needed brain surgery for Chiari Malformation and SM, a neurological condition. We didn't hesitate to find the best care for Daphne because of our Healthy Paws insurance coverage. They made it possible for us to afford her specialized care. Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
