Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I'm currently a college student and I knew that when I got my Oripei puppy I knew that I would have to face the possibility of future high medical bills due to the breed. Spending alot of money on my pup whenever something unexpected comes up is scary. However, Healthy Paws has saved me time and time again from that and it is honestly the best thing you can ever do for your pet. Whenever I take my puppy to the vet I never worry about how I'm gonna cover the cost because I know that Healthy Paws will reimburse the majority of the bill. Recently my pup got stones and had to undergo a great deal of blood work and a cystotomy surgery but because of Healthy Paws it all ended up being less than a few hundred instead of thousands. Also the speed at which they reimburse me for my claims is amazingly fast. Everyone at Healthy Paws has made the process of keeping my pup at his best much easier than I expected and I truly appreciate them. A word of advice to everyone, the sooner you enroll your pet the better because Healthy Paws not cover per-existing conditions like all pet health insurance companies. Some people do not read before they sign up and blame Healthy Paws when their vet bills are not covered. It is something that is made clear from the start that they don't.

I cannot express my satisfaction and elation enough with the coverage, service, speed, ease and genuine care that Health Paws provided in connection with a claim for my weenie-mix dog. I was prepared for a long drawn out claim process but filing the claim was so easy and the claim review was quicker with Healthy Paws than with any other human insurance claim. Healthy Paws did not nickel and dime me. Rather, they paid 80% of the reasonable amount of charges (some hospitals/vets overcharge for services). In less than week, Healthy Paws had received, reviewed, and processed the claim and submitted reimbursement. What I REALLY appreciated was that even following reimbursement, Healthy Paws sent an email to me asking about Miles and if his stomach was better. It wasn't just a generic email blast. Rather, it was personal and demonstrates extraordinary service, vested interest and care. Kudos to Healthy Paws!

I just received my first check from Healthy Paws and couldn't believe how quickly my claim was processed. From online submittal to receiving a check was nine days! That's fast! Excellent service and the people at Healthy Paws were great. I'm glad I got pet insurance and I'm glad I chose Healthy Paws.

I have only been insured for about a month. I have an extremely healthy 4 year old Boxer. About 10 days ago she was bitten by a Mojave rattlesnake and nearly died! She was in the veterinary hospital ICU and received very expensive antivenin. The total bill was nearly $2,500. She is now out of the woods and should make a fully recovery. I submitted the vet bills to Healthy Paws last Friday and got an email on Monday indicating my claims were approved and checks were being sent to reimburse me - EXACTLY AS THEY PROMISED! What an amazing pet health insurance company. In fact, it is the best insurance company of any kind with whom I have ever dealt.
