Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My husband and I argued over pet insurance being worth it, after my 4 YO male got very sick, and the E vet need 50% of what they thought the high end total would cost for treatment, which I didn't have and needed to decide which part I could pay for, it cost me 2500. and I still couldn't save him.. I am still paying off that card today, I never wanted to have to make that choice again, that is when I decided to get the insurance, it has been a life saver, literally for my 14 YO girl Babs. I never have an issue with Healthy Paws, I love this company and have recommended to many in the vets office and in dog community.

This pet insurance is by far the best! Not only did they process my claim quickly but also coveted everything I expected without any surprise exclusions. They not only provide exellent insurance and customer service the even check on her medical status. I will never go anywhere else for pet insurance.

We got insurance just for piece of mind having had a few major surgeries without for our older dog. Lotta is a large breed Newfoundland and we were uneasy with expenses she could bring on. Smartest financial decision we've made. Lotta is the most lovable girl in the world but has come with vet bill after vet bill. Last year started with a tplo surgery, rehab including hydrotherapy and another surgery to remove the PLO hardware and more therapy. Healthy paws was quick to cover all. Just when lotta learned to run free again, she ran right to the trash and ate a corncob. 3 days of observation and eventual exploratory surgery and intestinal repair were all covered by healthy paws.
