I have used Healthy Paws insurance for two of my dogs, and their service has gone above and beyond for both! I have saved a great deal of money from unexpected medical problems with both dogs. The process of obtaining the insurance is incredibly easy, and the coverage policies based on the percentage of the vet bill are easy to understand and just make sense, unlike the confusing and complicated policies other insurance carriers use. I appreciate how quickly Healthy Paws processes claims and then sends re-reimbursement right back to you. Using Healthy Paws has been the best decision I've made as a pet owner. My puppy, Hayley, began limping on her right front leg about 20 days after I had signed up with Healthy Paws. I thought, at first, that she had just over exercised while playing with another puppy so I gave it a week. After one week she was still limping so off to the vet we went. She was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and needed surgery to correct the problem before permanent damage to the joint was done. The surgery was not cheap, but Healthy Paws stepped up to the plate and paid the claim even though I had been with them for only 20 days!!! It was a huge help. I have checked out 10 pet insurances and Healthy Paws stood out on top of my list, out of all I had checked out. They were even better after signing up. They are overall the friendliest,caring,and prompt pet insurance company around.They are prompt at getting back to you when they receive the claim forms , and the payouts are sent within a week. I am so grateful for having them for my little Spanky he was admitted for pancreatitis at my vet office though he wasn't getting better, so I ended up at an emergency Hospital while it took a couple days to recover, than before he was about to come home his blood sugar dropped, bottom line he ended up with a rare illness called an insulinoma which is a tumor in the pancreas that puts out too much insulin, Now they recommend surgery to remove it or else he will die within 7 months. What a shock it was to our family. We would have never been able to handle all the high costs of all the tests and surgery if it wasn't for Healthy Paws, they make it possible for us to take care of our Spanky. We can now have him around a lot longer. I would not have been able to do it without Healthy paws,and to top it off they truly care about your pet,they truly want to know how your pet is doing.I also love the fact that they encourage pet adoption. I recently had to have eye surgery for my year old Chinese Sharpei. Healthy Paws processed my claim within 24 hours, that's what you call service. I highly recommend Healthy Paws as they "get it." They deliver exactly what they promise, and they treat you in a way every customer should be treated. #1: They advise you via email every step of the way. #2: They are quick. #3: They are in the service business and act like it because they cared and emailed their concern that my pet was recovering okay from her injury. I also recommend pet insurance because it's one less worry in life. I don't mind the small amount charged to my credit card each month knowing that if there is an accident or injury, I don't have to stress about the bill. I want to spend all my care and concern on my pet!
