Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We spent the 4th of July with a sick dog. He threw up and had diarrhea throughout the day. After a few hours of it not improving we took him to the Animal Hospital. They determined that he did not swallow any foreign objects and checked his blood for any other concerns. He was rehydrated and put on medication to help him recover. Gratefully he did quickly. But the hospital bill was over $800. Within days of submitting to we received a message with the amount we would be refunded from Healthy Paws. A check followed shortly thereafter as did an email asking if our dog was feeling better. We are very happy with their speed of service and percentage we are refunded quickly.

We have been having this insurance for over 3 years, since we had rescued our dog. Healthy Paws never let us down. Outstanding service, fast reimbursement. We are telling about them to all our friends and pet owners. This company literally saved us thousands of dollars. Very happy customers, thank you!

I have a 5 year old collie mix and recently filed my first claim. Maya was having issues with multiple days of diarrhea so we took her to our vet. After some tests, turns out it was parasite and she needed antibiotics. Used the Healthy Paws mobile app to submit the claim and received a check with the week! Very easy to use and was great knowing I had it.

What I can say other than Amazing!? From day one Healthy Paws has been top notch and gone above and beyond in every facet! They are quick to respond to any inquires, helpful, quick to process claims and send reimbursement checks. We've never had an issue with a claim and they have covered everything they've stated they'd cover when we first signed up 3 years ago! They've been simply great to work with, they've covered large claims from our dogs' MPL surgery (over $4,000), to small claims, like RX (antibiotics, pain relievers, etc...) and everything in between. They recently covered our dogs' root canal on a fractured pre-molar ($1,400). We don't hesitant to take our dog into the vet for anything with Healthy Paws covering her. Even without coverage we'd still take her in for care, but having Healthy Paws insurance makes things easier. I can't recommend them enough, in fact I recommend them regularly to co-workers, friends and others. I work at a company that manufacturers VetMed based products and we deal with Vet Clinics, patients and pretty much anyone else in the Vet industry and I recommend them any chance I get. You won't be unsatisfied with Healthy Paws

Our 9 month old puppy accidentally got into the garbage and, unfortunately mixed in was a lot of grapes. We rushed to the ER but fortunately everything came out alright in the end. The bill however was nearly 2500 bucks, including a vet's follow-up visit the next-day. This included two nights in the ER, etc. We were able to easily use the app to take a picture of the bills and make our claim. I had the 90% coverage and I was glad. Being pretty cynical, I assumed everything would get rejected on technicalities or would get lost in their system but they put it thru right away. And they even sent an email checking on my dog. Amazing.
