Wonderful... less stress

I have been with other insurance companies that pretend to cover illnesses and cancer but you have to fight them for every nickle and dime of coverage. Now I can just relax and treat my dog knowing that 90% of treatments will be covered. Thank you Healthy Paws!

The best insurance care for our 4 legged kids.

We haven’t had pet insurance for any of our pets until we got our puppy, Merlen, this year. We decided to also purchase coverage for Molly, our 5 year old corgi, at the same time. Molly got very sick a few months ago, constantly hacking and regurgitating. She had developed pneumonia and bronchitis with the x-ray showing she had an enlarged esophagus. We had to completely change what she ate, how she ate it, and how she would sleep. The vets noticed her head had become skeletal due to loss of muscle mass. They began several expensive tests to determine what the underlying condition was. Molly’s muscle biopsy alone was $3,000. It was determined she has a condition that results in muscle atrophy, which had gotten so severe that one of her eyes were unable to blink. Molly sees a specialist that monitors her condition and is on daily medication. Molly is doing better and has that twinkle back in her eyes, which blinks again. The cost of this has been close to $6,000. Healthy Paws is quick with reimbursement. It takes less than a week for them to complete processing the claim. They do take an interest in our pets, sending a note asking how Molly is doing. This was the best thing we could have ever done for our babies. They are in the best of care with a wonderful vet and great insurance coverage with a caring insurance company. In fact, it was our vet that not only recommended we get pet insurance, they recommended Healthy Paws based on the feedback of their other patients. Than

Excellent would definitely recomend Healthy Paws

I have never had pet insurance before, but when I adopted two Weimaraner puppies I decided to get some. After quite a bit of research I decided on Healthy Paws. A few weeks ago I had to make my first claim. One evening when I arrived home from work, Helmut had a laceration on his side, no doubt caused by his brother in some way. It was not bleeding and was about the size of a fifty cent piece. Before I took him to vet, I went on-line to the Healthy Paws web site and printed out a personalized claim form for Helmut, it was so easy. The Vet decided he needed five or six stitches. He is not the best of patients, so he had to be sedated, just a local would not work. When I picked him up later the office staff faxed all the necessary forms to Healthy Paws. Unfortunately he managed to pull out two stitches overnight, so we made a trip to the emergency vet for more stitches. They filled out his personalized claim form and I faxed it and the itemized bill. Within two days I had an e-mail from Healthy Paws saying the claims were being processed. I received my reimbursements within seven to ten working days. I could not be happier with the service.

So Glad we have Healthy Paws for our Goldendoodle

Our puppy has ingested everything from tax returns to raisins, which can be very toxic, by the way! Healthy Paws has been rapid and compaassionate in their response, and paid out way more in claims than our previous insurer,VIP. Their reimbursement forms are easy to follow, so we always no exactly what, and for how much we are being reimbursed. We have always been happily surprised there!

One of the best decision we ever made

If you are considering pet insurance, look no further, Healthy Paws does just as they promise. We had know idea the health challenges that our two dogs Sadie and Kona would face, and many of the procedures that have been necessary probably would not have been done due to cost. Every claim we have submitted have been paid quickly. They have added acupuncture to their covered procedures. Sadie, after having an MRI was diagnosed with Wobblers disease, and is not a candidate for surgery, acupuncture has kept her on her feet. Kona was just diagnosed with an ACL. We are trying complete restriction, and if that doesn't work he will have to have a very costly surgery. We cannot thank Healthy Paws enough for fulfilling their promise as stated, and for the extremely courteous customer service department
