So glad we went with Healthy Paws

These folks are awesome. My pup had to go to an emergency weekend clinic and stay overnight. She also needed medication and lab work. The staff at the clinic faxed our claims over to Healthy Paws, and we got our reimbursement very, very quickly (couple of days). We received an email from Healthy Paws right after our reimbursement, asking how the dog was doing. It was such a nice and appreciated personal touch.

You Saved My Baby

Words cannot express how pleased I am with Healthy Paws insurance. My little year old puppy Lola got herself into a lot of trouble recently with a double bowel obstruction. Apparently, she is a goat in dachshund clothing and likes to eat just about everything and anything that she can swallow. Needless to say we were in a state of near panic when she became very ill. Over the course of a couple days she had surgery and is now well on her way to a complete recovery. Thanks to Healthy Paws, during the entire situation, cost for her care and money were now an issue. They were there when Lola needed them with kind words, outstanding customer service and amazing support. I encourage anyone who has a pet as part of their family to check out Healthy Paws and purchase insurance. Thanks so much Healthy Paws.

Godsend!

I nearly lost my best friend in the whole wide world 3 weeks ago. My tweenie Doxie "Lola" had a double bowel obstruction. Little did I know this 17 month pup was a goat eating large chunks of her chew toy, dried palm husk, dental floss, grass and my long hair! Multiple visits to the ER were so stressful and when they finally found the diagnosis she had to have a gastroenterostomy. Knowing that I had Healthy Paws pet insurance helped tremendously and I could focus my emotions on Lola, not the financial constraints. It's sad t0 think that people who don't have the funds would have to put their animals down. My theory on insurance is, if you have it you won't need it, but I am so glad I purchased it and grateful beyond words to this fantastic company. My claim was processed promptly in less than 2 weeks. I received no harassment, just a pleasant letter of well wishes for Lola and a welcomed check for nearly 90% of the total cost. If there is one think I can pass on to others it's take the time to get pet insurance... the $29/month is so worth it when you are faced with a $5,000 emergency visit bill.

excellent

I just became insured with healthy paws pet insurance feb. 2012. After alot of research I felt it was the best for us. It only covers accidents and illnesses, not wellcare or any parasites or worms etc. I knew having a pup that puts everything in his mouth we could run into a problem, sure enough I was insured maybe a month and my dog ingested something toxic and needed to stay overnight at hospital and have his stomach pumped and be on an iv. They dont even take the dog until you hand them your credit card and you have to pay what they estimate which on the low side was 1500 and the high side was 2100. Luckily he was okay the next day and I was able to get him earlier than expected. The bill came to 955.00I figued out to the penny what the reimbursement would be. This company notified me when they recieved my claim and again after it was processes within the week my check for 715.00 was in hand. they dont pay for office visit and I have a 50.00 deductible the pay 90% after that. Buying this insurance was the best 35.00 a month I could have spent. They even followed up to see how the dog was doing. Even when you call them they are very professional and you get through right away. I highly recommend this company. Its great oh shit insurance.

Healthy Paws is Outstanding

I have a Labrador Retriever puppy who developed a condition known as Entropian Lower Eyelid. Its where the eye lid turns inside causing the eyelashes to rub the cornea and is extremely painful and will cause blindness. The condition is hereditary.I have been taking him to a vet since last September about every three weeks to get the lids tacked and this week finally the major operation to fix it. In total over $2,000 in expenses and all paid promptly and without any hassels. They are awsome!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $90, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.

You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $100, $250, $500 or $750*
