Healthy Paws Is Amazing

My 6 month old puppy was acting strange and we took her to the Emergency clinic. It was neurological and they kept her overnight. She was treated for toxicity. This is our first pet and we were so sad and anxious. Unfortunately, you need insurance when something bad happens and you are an emotional mess. Fortunately, I contacted Healthy Paws about submitting a claim the next day. The process was so easy and they were so responsive! My puppy is doing much better and I am grateful that I invested in pet insurance with Healthy Paws. Kudos!! (Btw, I work for an auto insurer, so I know how insurance customers should be treated...)

Fantastic

Healthy Paws has been terrific. I had used a different pet insurance for other dogs without a good experience. Before choosing Healthy Paws I did some research and choose Healthy Paws, I am so glad I did. Our six month old puppy, Coco broke her leg and required surgery. Healthy Paws was very quick to process our claim and even emailed to check on how Coco was doing. I have had great customer service with Healthy Paws. I would highly recommend them.

This insurance is a life saver

I have a adorable 5 year old yorkiepoo named Milokofski (Milo for short). One morning my son took him out for a walk and he all of a sudden dropped down to a laying down position and couldn't go any further. He lost use of his rear legs! We rushed him to our local vet that takes care of him and he told me he was going to give me a real hard diagnosis. Milo had a fractured vertibrae and it was putting pressure on his spinal cord. The expense of hopefully helping him was huge. I was doing this for him regardless, but at the moment it was a hugh financial shock! We rushed him to the local hospital and the neurological vet performed the surgery within 3 hours later! The bill ended up being over $5000!! Thank god for this insurance and the people at Healthy Paws! They were absolutely tremendous from day 1. They helped me through the claim filing portion and how to submit it, they followed up with emails to ensure all my documents were in order and to ensure that Milo was doing ok and asked to give him a hug for them. These people demonstrate that they care!! Big Time. I have had more than 20 dogs in my life and all were my best friends. I never had pet insurance before this and yet I am so glad I do now. It removes the worries of huge financial burdens when normally a easy decision should be made. Make him well, thats all that is important. This insurance company makes those answers easy and they truly care. This isn't some phony review, I never do many reviews and they mu

EXCELLENT

Our goofy, 18-month old labradoodle, Wilbur, jumped our fence and was hit by a car. He had extensive injuries and required speciality care at a trauma center. His hind leg had to be amputated and he was in the pet hospital for a week. Fortunately, we had insurance that covered 80% of the almost 10K bill. During the crisis, we made decisions based on his health and quality of life--since we had the insurance, we thankfully never had to make decisions based on the cost of his care. Our reimbursement check came from Healthy Paws before our credit card statement! Easy claim to file. Our tri-pawd is doing amazing and we look forward to many years of love and fun with him!

Healthy Paws delivers what they promise!

My 1 year old boxer, Roxy, woke up one morning vomiting multiple times within a short time. We took her into the vet, an x-ray was done which revealed that she had swallowed a metal foreign object. The vet tried to remove it with a scope, however he was unsuccessful and Roxy had to have major surgery to remove it. She is recovering nicely, however the bill was almost $2K. We printed off the Healthy Paws claim form, and took it to our vet the day Roxy came home. They completed it and faxed it in. I received an e-mail from Healthy Paws the same day saying they needed more information to process the claim, my vet sent the information that day and I received another e-mail that day from them saying the claim was being processed and they would do their best to complete it within 10 business days. They kept their promise and I received a check in the mail about 2 weeks after the surgery. Our deductible was $200 and they paid 90% of the remaining balance less the exam fee just as they promised. They also have contacted us to see how Roxy is recovering. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing pet insurance. This definitely has made this experience less stressful for us. Roxy is doing well, and we only have a small portion of a large bill to pay ourselves.
