Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I got a puppy and made the decision to get Healthy Paws insurance after a friend told me a horror story about their pet costing them so much money in random occurrences - it was THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. Two weeks after my plan went into effect my dog was sadly hit by a car and was in need of emergency surgery on his leg which was ranging from 5-6 thousand dollars. Healthy Paws was rated the best insurance when I was google searching and this is why - they have such amazing customer service and they actually truly care. They even helped me work out a payment system between them and the animal hospital so I didn't have to front all the money. And they called to check in to make sure everything my dog okay during recovery process. Can't thank you enough Healthy Paws!

I am so glad I did!!! Not too long after signing up my dog starting limping badly after playtime with another dog. It turned out she tore her ligaments in her knee and needed surgery that I wouldn't have been able to afford without my pet insurance. Healthy Paws covered 80% of the costs, without any problems. It took a while to process the initial health history and veterinarian invoices, but everybody was very helpful and I am so relieved to know that whatever health problems my dog will encounter, I don't have to worry about it braking the bank...!

I would recommend Healthy Paws to any pet parent. They handle the claim almost overnight and always pays for the claim. My dog had to do an emergency endoscopy due to a bone stuck in her esophagus and I didn't have to worried about the cost to save my dog.
