Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am the unfortunate owner of a beautiful golden retriever who in five weeks was diagonosed with two different cancers the second requiring emergency treatment and surgery. Never once did Health Paws hesitate to cover my claims and in five weeks there were many. They made it possible to gve my dog the best medical care available. I have had AKC insurance that would not cover medical care even though I had never filed a claim in 7 years (a different dog) I quickly canceled and was fortunate to find Healthy Paws. They answer claims in two to three weeks.

We've had Healthy Paws insurance since 2010---and they are amazing in all respects! Claims are handled so quickly and easily it's hard to believe, and they cover more than I would have ever dreamed! I would recommend this company to anyone with animals that they want to protect---and we will continue to have coverage on our animals with Healthy Paws forever. If I could buy this insurance for myself I would do it in a heartbeat!!!! One of our Berners had two torn knees, and it has been ongoing treatment for the last three+ years---once our deductible is met, they pay claims within a week. This insurance has saved us literally thousands of dollars!

lI had the misfortune to my beloved dog have two major occurances of different cancers. FIrst a melanoma that was treatable and then hemangioma that is advanced, requiring emergency surgery and possible chemotherapy. This was 4 surgical procedures in a matter of 5 weeks. Never once did Healthy paws hesitate to pay my claim. It is stressful enough to deal with cancer and then to go into serious debt as a result. I would do it all again regardless of insurance but this company has been a life saver for me and my dog.The claims are handeled quickly and with a follow up call to check on your animal. I have had other more extensive insurance that refused to pay a claim on another dog.Their claim of comprehensive coverage was false. Healthy Paws is so easy to work with! Our 2.5 year old pup had to spend a night in the emergency vet clinic due to stomach issues. The clinic submitted the claim on our behalf, and within a couple of days the claim check arrived. The one thing that really stood out, however, was a personal email from Healthy Paws checking in on Izzi and her tummy issues.Healthy Paws is an insurance company who seems to care! highly recommended!

Nayah is a beautiful, super sweet pitbull mix my husband and I rescued... she's our only child. We discovered Nayah had a cyst-like growth that was pressing on her spinal-cord that could have very likely caused her to eventually not be able to walk.
