Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had other pet insurance companies before I came over to Healthy Paws...my only regret is that I hadn't switched over to Healthy Paws sooner. I am so impressed with the service and more so with the time frame in which a claim is processed. I receive a response the same day I submit the claim...that is something that allows me to feel very comfortable knowing it is already being addressed and processed. Plus I very much like the fact that a portion of my policy goes to help homeless animals. I have been dealing with Healthy Paws for around three weeks now trying to get them to cover two vet visits that I recently made with my dog Chase. Although I haven't gotten to the process of getting them to actually pay for a claim, they have done nothing but ask for paperwork over and over again. After giving them every single piece of paper that I have ever been handed by a vet in reference to my dog, they claim that they still need more paperwork. So, while they twiddle their thumbs, we will wait and see what excuse they attempt to use to not pay my claims.

Overall, a great company with awesome customer service. Our dog Bexley was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to have it removed quickly. I submitted numerous claims, all were handled expertly and efficiently with a matter of a few days. Company has far exceeded my expectations of an insurance company. Thank you for the peace of mind during this, I will continue to be a loyal customer for many years to come.

There were many pet insurance providers out there when we were researching but luckily we chose healthy paws. Unfortunately our little Pom was diagnosed with a luxating patella and in need of knee surgery. As a nervous pet owner, healthy paws was more than resourceful to describe coverages and the claim process. Amazing service, caring and claims were processed expeditiously. I have nothing but good things to say about Healthy Paws! My 11 month old puppy had to get surgery for a Stage 3 medial patellar luxation and my husband and I were so worried about the costs. We submitted the claim to Healthy Paws and they approved our claim in 3 days! The covered everything associated with her disgnosis, including blood work, X rays, surgery, post op medications and inflatable recovery collar! I was so impressed by them. I called them after the surgery because my puppy wouldn't take her meds and they said they would cover her meds if we took them to a compounding pharmacy to improve the flavor. They are absolutely amazing! A few days after her surgery, I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how my puppy was doing and to wish her a speedy recovery. You can tell that everyone working for this company really cares about animals. We even received our check from Healthy Paws a week after the claim was approved! I am so incredibly happy we bought this insurance for our puppy. I recommend it to everyone I know how has a dog they love.
