Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I wish human health insurance would learn a thing or two from healthy paws! My dog Sasha had a $3,200 surgery on Monday after eating some of my belongings - it was a really stressful and scary day- knowing that I wouldn't be stuck with the whole bill was such a relief.Healthy paws is incredible- there's an app so you just take a picture of your receipt. I did this on Monday and by Wednesday they had emailed me a decision saying that they would cover $2,500 and that id receive a check shortly. It was such a life saver financially. They also sent me a follow up email. I was worried that it would be an angry email telling me not to leave tampons out for my dog to eat-- instead it was a sweet email checking in on Sasha's tummy and saying to give her a huge hug from them. They truly are remarkable

We purchased coverage for our Burnie, a GSD in June 2015. He was 8 weeks old. I did extensive research and chose Healthy Paws very carefully. I am soooo happy with my choice. Unfortunately Burnie has had several major issues including an auto immune disease diagnosed recently. We are so greatful to Healthy Paws! They helped us pay a few big claims (90 percent coverage) we would not have been able to afford otherwise. The staff of the company is very quick to process claims and they always follow up with us to check on how Burnie is doing. We are do greatful ! We've had our pup for almost two years now and purchased Healthy Paws Pet Insurance one year ago. Though she is still healthy and well, she is an active and crazy pup and I'm sorry to say we have had many high-dollar claims, including a $6,000+ surgery. We are continually surprised by Healthy Paws prompt, compassionate, and utterly stellar service. Claims paid quickly, never an issue. Terrific company. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

We did not have pet insurance when our 12 year old dog has 14K back surgery. We decided to get insurance when we got our latest rescue pup. It has been a life saver, both emotionally and financially. I did a lot of research and a friend also recommended Healthy Paws.

I have a French Bulldog and need I say anything else!! We love this little guy but were so worried that our Pet Insurance wouldn't help us when we needed it. Little Gary ended up in the ER with a respiratory problem and was quite sick. The bill was scary!! I filed my claim and within 2 weeks the check was in the mail. They even checked on Gary after he recovered to see how things were going. They always answer the phone and are quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!
