Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I cannot recommend Healthypaws highly enough and wish there were more stars to give. My border collie rescue was saved from the streets of Stockton by the SPCA. He's adapting to a life without scavenging, but its not been easy, and we've had several vet visits and 2 stomach surgeries. The surgeries are expensive and would have impacted my financial cushion. I'm so thankful for Healthypaws. They streamlined the claims process! I could be there for my recuperating pal, instead of racing around filling out forms, scanning –faxing – emailing them, and hoping they were received. Healthypaws responded quickly, notified me of the approvals, and quickly disbursed my reimbursement. They are professional, responsive, and honest. Moreover, I received a personal email about a week after my pup’s surgery checking in to see how he was recovering and wishing us well. I have never received such a thoughtful follow-up from an insurance company, not for me, my family, or my pet. I cannot recommend Healthypaws enough. Insurance with a heart. They have me as a client for life.

After having pet insurance with another company for 7 years we recently switched to Healthy Paws. What a wonderful and caring company! We had a life threatening emergency with our beloved dog last month and I could not believe the service, the kindness, and the claims efficiency Healthy Paws provided. I cannot imagine a better pet insurance company anywhere. Thank our lucky stars we switched to become part of their customer family! The BEST decision ever.

I have never had insurance on any of my animals but I can tell you how thankful I am I had it for Dozer!! We had a typical weekend came home from my moms house Sunday night and Dozer always greets us at door I knew when he wasn't there something was wrong!! He was laying on dog bed crying we took him to vet and had X-rays done and he had a torn ACL and couldn't walk!! He had to have a metal plate with 8 screws put in his knee which would be a $4,000.00 surgery!! It felt so good to say ok let's do it knowing he was covered and we received a check 1 week after surgery!! The best investment ever!! We searched all the insurances and options and healthy paws was by far the best insurance with the best price!! The fact knowing you have this for your pet you never hesitate to take him to the vet!! Thank you for caring enough to check on him after his surgery!! That's unheard of!! We had 90% coverage and highly recommend healthy paws!!

Our dog Ladoo tore the ligaments in his knee and just had TPLO surgery done . Healty Paws insurance is fantastic our claim of $4100.00 was approved in less then 24 hours and check issued , any time we had to call their coustomer service the folks are kind and pride themselves in helping concerned pet owners like me, so folks out there looking to buy pet insurance your search should end here , I have never ever had any company in any field do better job then Healty Paws in taking care of there coustomer . We looked into the various pet insurances and found this one to be the perfect one for us. This is the first time we bough pet health insurance and are so appreciative of the quickness in response. Our previous dog had osteosarcoma who lived 5 more years after that. Needless to say out of pocket expenses for chemotherapy amounted to more than $20,000. We did not have health insurance, just glad our daughters finished college!. So we were ready to adopt a new puppy, pet insurance was on our mind. Lucy is now three but we certainly did not think we'd need to use our insurance since she was still so young. However, she contracted a rare form of fungus in her nasal cavity, that had the capability of forming more colonies and enter the cranial plate. Luckily, we caught it in time and had to have two procedures to ensure eradication of the fungus. We are truly grateful to Healthy Paws for their quick response and policies. We hope our dog, Lucy, will continue to remain healthy and are grateful to know that Healthy Paws continues to be there.The iphone app for Healthy Paws could not be easier, to check on the status of a claim. Within 7-10 days we received a response.
