Healthy Paws…excellent coverage for over 11 years
Healthy Paws has insured my dog for her entire life of 11.5 yrs. They’ve covered a myriad of health claims in that time. Having this insurance means we never have to make a decision about her health based on money and I can tell you if that had not been the case we may have had to let her go long ago. Vet care is expensive and we’ve been so lucky to have Healthy Paws.

Ins easy to work with
Thanks for reaching out. Zoey is doing well it was a tough go first week after her TPLO. It’s been 2 weeks since surgery had her stitches taken out today, now to keep her quiet for 6 more weeks.
I also had another dog who had both back legs fixed she did well also . Healthy paws is great Ins Thanks R Hollenbeck

Positive experience with Healthy Paws
It has been about nine years since our dog has been insured with Healthy Paws. It has been a very positive experience. Our dog has multiple health problems and I cannot imagine how I can afford all those veterinary bills had we not have this insurance. Only once did I have a problem with an obnoxious agent years ago but that got solved. Provided you have all the invoices and complete doctors reports everything goes smoothly and swiftly. I can recommend Healthy Paws.
Monthly Cost
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
